LOVE all of these recommendations. I am also fair and freckled (and 40 lol) and find that I almost can’t wear foundation anymore ESPECIALLY in the summer. It feels and looks so aging for some reason on my skin unless it is just a tinted moisturizing type of product. By the way, you can tell that you are an artist by your very specific and accurate color descriptions. ❤

Thank you!! I've always wanted a second career as someone who names crayon colors lol 🎨 And I feel the same way about my skin! I've always struggled finding products that work with my freckles and skin texture instead of against it. Some products really can make freckles look muddy for some reason, but there are great options out there! I always remind myself it's the products' job to look nice and work well and there is nothing wrong with my skin itself! 😉

@@MakeupByAlli I will never forget when Crayola named the “Macaroni and Cheese” crayon. 😂 I wonder if that is still a color…

Hi. Thank you for the video. I am tempted about the Milk foundation. Just a little advise, the music is a little too high in volume, some words you say was difficult to catch. Thank you again

If you’re into red toned cheeks, I recommend revisiting the old classic NARS exhibit A. It’s more orange based than the two you showed here, but
I swear it works beautifully on fair cooler toned skin. Applied sheerly it gives such a healthy and youthful life to the face ❤

Yes to the olive info! Alexandra Anele here on you tube is a makeup artist who is very pale olive. The Dior forever and backstage lines have colors called warm olive. This color starts at 2 WO color. I mix it with the 1Warm or a very light yellow corrector to lighten it when I am at my lightest. The concealer is much more green than the foundation but both work for me. Also EXO makes a corrector that is almost a khaki green color. It could potentially be mixed into any very light warm or neutral foundation or concealer for spot concealing.

A lot of people dont know this, but olive is strictly an undertone. You can be very very pale with freckles and red hair and be olive. I am a bit lighter than you, with bright red hair and freckles across my nose and checks and i am so so so olive that i almost look green in some lighting. This misunderstanding is precisely why makeup is not formulated for pale olives. They instead mix the pink with the gold, call it neutral, and assume that will work. Everyone assumes olive means deeper skin tones, but its simply an undertone. Wanted to put this out there for all the green pale people haha
You should try the merit lip oils, omg they are beautiful. Soopergoop also has this lovely juicy deep lip spf with very rich tones and their shades are amazing and last on the lips like a legit lipstick. It’s all mineral spf too!

That's so interesting!! I always figured it was an undertone that was more prevalent in the medium range of the skin tone spectrum! Thank you for sharing that info! At least brands are finally starting to formulate lighter shades that aren't strictly bright pink in undertone.. the reason for me wearing the incorrect shade of foundation all throughout high school 😂
Also I think the Merit lip oils and Supergoop lipstick you are referring to I actually mentioned at the end of this video lol!!! You really know my taste haha, I absolutely love them both! 💗✨💗✨

@@MakeupByAlli haha omg I went through 90 percent of the video and then my 4 year old decided to try feed gummies to baby sister so I turned it off and ran. Then I came back and wrote a comment but didn’t finish the video haha mom brain
And yes! There’s a whole Reddit subreddit crammed fair olive, that’s how I learned my undertone because no matter what, nothing would ever match me, and they would also make my freckles look grey since mine are more of a warm toned orangey type than cool toned like yours
