I love how everything said here is brutaly honest. I'm poor and I have sat and thought about everything here. And since we're being honest I have to say I am weak, if I had money and my kids asked for something that doesn't cost much and isn't something they ask for all the time, I'm buying it for them. I can save money and when it's for a specific thing I can say no all day. However, when my kids were little, we may not have had everything wanted but always had what we needed and we were happy with what we had, was thankful and grateful, I believe it made my kids closer, and move over, they've been there and done that. Now they're grown, they know what's up, what to do what not to do, and how to do it. Two out of 3 kids are in the military getting that education to have a better life than the one they grew up having. I gave them knowledge from the street and you can't buy that or save up for it. They lived it.

Got rid of my apartment that was $2,200 a month, put all my things in a storage for $95 a month. Went over the road driving a semi truck, almost done paying off my debt, my credit has skyrocketed back towards the higher 600s, and I’m saving a ton of money. Goal is to be out of trucking by 2026, and getting into a different career path for myself. You can do it guys! ❤

15:11 Exactly. According to Forbes, 90% of millionaires own businesses. The secret: businesses have an infinite potential of earnings for the owner, unlike employments. The harder & longer you work on it the more it'll make you more money.

Growing up with my mom life was hard during winter months we would almost freeze to death one extreme winter the toilet water completely froze Detroit winter 1984 at this point I was 15 And I decided to get out of poverty that day I started to hang with people who lived in Sherwood Forest an affluent area in Detroit. They showed me how to fill out Pell grants and student loans To make a long story short, I became a masters trained nurse and my wife and kids well all of my kids have gone to college. We currently reside in a $500,000 home and guess what my kids never have lived without heat in the winter ❄️ You can get out of poverty, but you going to need help. You cannot pull yourself up by your bootstraps you need help and I got help and now poverty is a thing of the past for my family my children, my wife and myself. Now I help others get out of poverty

Wow, thank you for sharing your story, me, my husband and daughter are currently living in a hotel room. Despite this, I am a contractor / booking agent who has yet to earn any money but I work 7 days a week. I won't give up and no I didn't come from poverty, I came from lower middle class but didn't get any education on money, how to make it, how to keep it, credit, and I also had 3 kids by the age of 26 with no college education. I just refuse to give up on myself or us. My husband works a 9-5 but he does his dream job on the side which is audio engineering. We won't give up! READY

I personally think it is harder to escape the middle class lifestyle than it is to escape poverty. Think about it. Most of the population is in the middle class and that is where the biggest market is. All of the largest companies revolve around this class so people becoming richer or poorer would result in them losing money. In countries like the UK, USA and most western countries, the conditions to start a business or to scale one are atrocious. Laws, crazy taxes and vicious competition. And in the middle class, you have a glimpse of what true wealth looks like but will never reach it, probably working for a few decades before dying. People in poverty try to work hard to provide food and shelter for them and their families, but the sad fact is, they don't really understand or learn the concept of money and what it can bring them. Again, the middle class is ravaged by a plague of the attention economy. Its like the we're trapped.

The wisest thing that should be on everyone mind currently should be to invest in different streams of income that doesn't depend on government paycheck, especially with the current economic crisis around the world. This is still a time to invest in Stocks, Forex and Digital currencies.

This is true:: for instance, people are constantly chasing financial stability on a day job but fail to understand that the banks and most of theses corporations are return-driven businesses designed to keep you stagnant. I don’t keep sums in the bank. Instead, I invest with professional guidance, enjoy the benefits and actively push forward to financial freedom.

You have some fantastic content on your channel. At 53 years old, my husband and I achieved a net worth of $1 million back in 2017. Fast forward five years, and it has grown to $2.4 million. Despite our combined annual salary of just over $100,000, we have adopted a frugal lifestyle. We continue to drive older cars, prepare meals at home, and make use of leftovers. Additionally, we have two children currently in college. Fortunately, we had saved for their college expenses, and they are contributing by working part-time. As a result, they will graduate without any student debt.

The avg. American is having a tough time, I know I am not alone. There are others in same position as me. By certain statistics: 22% of americans have no retirement savings. 64% are worried that they will not have money in latter years while 47% of adults who are not yet retired think they have to work part-time in retirement. How can I best grow the 100k I have saved seperately outside retirement access which of course had depleted over the years?

It's recommended to save at least 20% of your income in a 401k. You can use online calculators to estimate how much you should save based on your age and income. Saving at least 20% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. By saving this much, you can take advantage of compound interest and potentially grow your retirement savings over time.

I made it out of poverty by joining the military and subsequently retiring. I would recommend anyone looking to join the military to first try their branch of interest academy (like the Naval Academy or the Air Force Academy and so on). Why this is because officers get pay more than enlisted. And officer's pay is more sustainable and rewarding. You could make it to the middle class and beyond in that way.

I slaved my life away for years in hospitality. Partying and rocking out! I kept my eyes peeled in a mountain retreat restaurant, a Chinese restaurant, a Mexican steak house and some Italian joints. This was in the 90's before the net. When I got the internet and a bit of cash from the dole I bought a stack of food from Woolies and honed my cooking skills. Then I contacted food companies about making franchise's. Work in progress. The same for my Hipster Paradiso clothes brand. All on hiatus like after I pulled all that tic tok bot cash in 2010. All in Government accounts while rolling on the DSP! Australian Magistrates are insane for helping me pull this off. Plus #ptsd treatment research. Magic mushrooms and ecstacy legal in Oz now for PTSD on PBS. Off the hook! 🎉
