  • At a recent meetup for Y Combinator founders working in AI, we asked them about the current state of AI technology-the good, the challenges, and best practices. Their expertise should offer some insight for anyone interested in building a product in the artificial intelligence space.
Thank you to all the companies who volunteered to be interviewed for this episode.

The idea of humans being narrators to what they want to build is so cool and exciting.

Great to hear the feet-on-the-street experiences. It will be interesting to watch these interviews a year from now. Will we have giant leaps in LLMs or other AI that remove many of these issues (hallucinations, extensive prompt tuning required, etc.), or will it just be a slow ramp of improvement?

Excelente video. X fin varios puntos de vista sobre un mismo tema exponiendo la aproximación que cada uno esta haciendo con esta nueva herramienta. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks! Without music it would be even better, I'd say (don't get why you need background music when there are people talking about intersting stuff; just random distraction).

my instinct is you primarily need to automate and structure the human involvement
nobody trusts answers that AI just randomly spits out, and every one expects there to be a starting point where humans prompt for a certain result.
so human involvement remains a constant... but the human involvement is currently too spontaneous. too voluntary. this has to be stratified and formalized.

It's evident that companies specializing in Generative A.I often seek to bridge a gap in innate creativity through their algorithms. However, a noteworthy paradox arises when artistically-driven enterprises harness Generative A.I: they sometimes grapple with streamlined logical problem-solving outputs. This intersection of technology and artistry presents both challenges and profound opportunities for innovation.
    - Restricting or hindering creative companies will only last so long. Creative companies specializing in A.I will win this race, because that logic = data with A.I. So they have to throttle the models now in their logical computation. Cant have them being solving real humane issues yet apparently.
Think I'm wrong research it yourself !

      Interesting perspective.
A lot of these startups are betting on a future where AI halucinations would be small, or even none, if we are talking about full
autonomy. Expecially in medical fields, finance, engineering...
But when/if that technology will arrive, no one knows. People from OpenAi say it will be here in two years, but they could be bias.
So will these startups survive up to this point? Hard to say, but currently the one playing on benefit of GenAI creativity have better chances.
Do you have any thoughts regarding computer vision +/- genAI?

A Female/ Male combination has much better chances of success. I can say that from my life experiences. If they are from two different ethnicity, race, religion, country, continent there are much better chancess of success. I prefer such a co-founder. Best wishes all ❤.

What is AI good at ? Eliminating "creative" people from their jobs and replacing them with more "tech" people.

Consider generative AI so good it can make movie scenes. Now imagine all the people who have great story ideas but too niche to appeal to mass markets and get conventional Hollywood studio financing. Imagine some kids describing somewhat complete scenes to their AI and AI converting it to “movie scene in the style of Quentin Tarantino”. Imagine how many more cool movies and short films we could have. Besides that, allowing more people to express their artistic and creative ideas is axiomatically good.

@@nbme-answers Now let me ask, In a mass produced world of movies like that, what would even find value? How will anything find any value?. Tell me what good humans would even be for in that world. Tell me what will humans do in such a world. Mahn humans are so dumb.
