The Non-Canon Expert looks at how Boba Fett's mission to acquire Starkiller on behalf of Darth Vader would reveal the Sith Lord's attempt to secretly create clones of the bounty hunter on Kamino without his knowledge, a betrayal orchestrated by Vader and a bounty hunter close to Boba.
This is a Legends story for Boba Fett and Darth Vader with information found within the "Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II" graphic novel. I hope that you enjoy it!

Clones out of a clone
BIG BRAIN MOVE
I think the fact they cloned a clone is part of the reason these Star Killer clones were unstable
Boba Fett: The Sixth Day 2
Here's a bigger brain move: Sidious cloning Anakin Skywalker. 🤓
Vadar playing some 4d chess 🤔
Well, Vader was rather fond of the Fett clones, so this makes a lot of sense. The 501st might have been the Empire's premier stormtroopers legion, but Vader would not have said "Nooooo" to more clones in his service
Indeed. He thought the Fett clones were the best. He's not wrong.
True. He loved and respected clones in his service
Just re-read this comic the other day, cool to be able to see the events of the game from Boba’s perspective.
I know its so much depth to his character
You know what, I think I saw your comment on a Tim Pool vid the other day and possibly even a quartering vid
@@SleepingLion525 your message is for jaela or me? Cause idk anything about these videos.
Maryam مريم yeah Jaela my bad sometimes the reply doesn’t work
I see you everywhere ha
So this is why he rescinded on killing Starkiller: Vader maneuvered on him.
Imagine how easy it was for the imperial scientists who worked on this like:
Vader: I want the DNA examined and the cloning process ready by next month!
Scientist pulls up data for Jango clones
Scientist: done
Gotta admit, an army of Boba Fetts would had been a nightmare for the rebellion.
Even the empire as well.
JaguarCats they’d have been as capable as the Jango clones if not more so with Vader’s training.
@@mikal9904 like I said the whole galaxy is FUCKED.
Vicent Serrano yes
Jango's clones* since Boba isnt an individual in the first place
I left a like for *Star Killer Clones*
So they’re just jango fett clones. Boba is just a clone of jango so they’re not his clones
They used Boba's brain patterns as part of the template, so their more his than they are Jangos. The brain really be the only thing setting them apart
Ryn that and their heads being attached to their shoulders
Jango feats clones used his brain patterns. Bobby is a clone but not of the same type. Bobby was made without any alterations to his mind so he grew up like any normal kind compared to the troopers. So these clones are physically clones of Jango. They are however more so clones of Bobba, as his brain patterns were used for these clones. So they do not think like the clones made from jango.
Lmao there’s literally no genetic difference between Boba and Jango. They’re literally genetically the same person. Vader might as well have cloned Jango.
The brain is what separates the person. Not just the cells. A clone of Boba would be more dangerous than Jango imo due to their different thought patterns.
DoNKeY Their brain material is exactly the same. They could alter it either way. They could make them obedient or smart like they did with the Jango clones.
DoNKeY Think of the ARC Troopers
@@mikal9904 Brain matter =/= Consciousness. Having the same brain doesn't mean two people in different environments will think or act the same. ARC troopers were trained by Jango himself, hence their personality. Clone troopers are genetically the same as ARC troopers, yet behave completely different. I don't understand your argument.
DoNKeY They have the exact same potential. The clones didn’t have Jango’s personality anyways so the point you just made was void? You just disproved yourself? Also what I’m saying is they have the exact same genetic material so their potential is exactly the same. You could alter their brains like they did to the Jango clones.
Also what happened to kamino after the empire fell
Well the kamino rebeled against (they didn't help the rebels we know it was there own rebels) the Empire before the empire's fall empire destroyed them th0
Yeah I think they rebelled with an army of clones themselves
How would a clone of Boba Fett be different in any way when compared to a Jango clone. I mean you're cloning a clone. Seems like you can skip a step and just use Jango's DNA which was already available.
Maybe it was an experiment? See if Boba's genome had changed in some way that would make clones with different skills? Or maybe the Jango genome was used up, and Boba was the next best thing?
Just watch the movie Multiplicity with Michael Keaton. A clone of a clone of a clone. What could possibly go wrong?
@@Crossbones6732 Jango's DNA was far past the line of genetic degradation because they had gone so long without a proper donor. Boba was the next best thing considering he wasn't just trained by Jango but he was RAISED by him, like a son. Jango and Boba are only identical in one aspect, that being their DNA. Everything else is completely different, memories, skill sets, combat experiences. Boba wasn't given Jango's memory flashes like all the other clones.
I want to see clones of the rakata
That definitely wouldn’t end well
Would they be force sensitive tho, cuz of their plauge? I think pureblood sith clones would be cool too.
That awkward moment when you walk in on a lab full of your clones... 😂 xx
Boba needs magnetic boots
I think my favorite Boba Fett moment was where after Katarn defeated him on Imperial City, he razed an ENTIRE Imperial Garrison and FORTRESS and EVERYONE in it, just to get at one guy who was given a deathmark by Jabba.
In the end the guy made a deal with Boba Fett to let him get him 15 years or some time after Fett let him get away. The guy became a story teller.
He told the children of that day and how he got away.
In the end a little girl asks if Boba Fett is a bad guy or a good guy. To which the storyteller tells her "It depends on your point of view."
Boba was sitting in the shadows listening to whole story.
The guy escaped by killing his brother who was in charge of the garrison, not understanding that no matter what he did, Boba would win.
And now it came full circle.
Instead Boba tosses the storyteller (who's waiting for Boba to kill him) an entire bag of credits which was the price of the deathmark. "And maybe this is the answer to some little girl's question."
With that he leaves and lets the guy live.
Nice, I commented on that other Boba Fett video about this. I was surprised when you didn't mention it in that one. It's such a sweet twist that puts a lot of depth into his character and his choice to ultimately carry out the job, no matter the cost. Love your videos.
*Why you do my Man Boba like that*
The Mandalorian yo
@@Donald915Dad?
Wow i thought we are enemies!
Boba Fett ??what why would you think that anyway time for your training
@@Donald915 i thought you were you dead
I still don't understand Why they wanted to clone Boba Fett in the first place. They had Jango Fett DNA already so why Boba?
If I remember correctly jangos dna was running out during the clone wars. They were stretching what they had too far.
@@hnoyes7674 So why not take DNA from the Clones?
Genetic degradation. Maybe copying a copy exposes more issues. I remember an episode of clone wars where they mention it might be time to find a new template, to which I was like mofos you have a young boba in custody. His dna should be the same. They way I think of the issue is similar to taking a picture, print it out, take a picture of that printed one print it again. The quality is going to diminish even though the equipment is good.
@@hnoyes7674 thanks
But wouldn't the same to for boba , because he's a clone , so wouldn't there be generic degradation anyways lol
EU Fett was epic.
Imagine making clones of Mandalorian.
Then the whole galaxy is fucked.
They did...
Wait wait wait, this doesn't make sense?! How could these possibly be clones of anyone?? Everyone knows, cloning is a dark practice known only to the ancient sith!
For Starkiller clones, then. Great video. Thanks.
This is very messed up. Noble of Boba to do this. To spare them pain. Vader wanted new Imperial Army. And no like for Starkiller clones. They were crazy.
Isn't cloning a clone a bad idea anyway?
Scientifically, not really no
since this is sci fi, I don't think stat wars cloning follows the same rules as real life cloning
You can't clone a clone. Vader clearly did not know Boba Fett was a clone of his genetic father Jango Fett. You would know Boba was a clone after analyzing Boba Fett's DNA Vader would have learned that Boba Fett was an non-modified clone wigh the same aging process as any normal human would. However Boba Fett was still a clone anyone that specializes in DNA and clone should have discovered this anomaly in Boba Fett's DNA and discover the fact that Boba Fett is a clone but not just any clone a first generation clone and possible had the most pure strand of Jango Fett's DNA unlike the corrupted DNA of the clone troopers.
Vader would know, since Obi-Wan knew and would likely have told him at some point. Maybe he was unaware of the complications which could arise, or maybe he simply didn't care and wanted to try it out anyways.
Does this even make sense? It was said the clone dna will at one point run out and that they are already stretching it, since Jango died. Why couldn't they clone Boba then, or just clone another clone.
Causti. Its said that cloning a clone causes the clone to have mental and physical problems. That's why the doctor said they would go insane within a year or sooner. They are unstable.
Then Bobba killed him before he could figure a way to fix it.
Wait so is this still canon and if so that means the fett man is still alive
What would happen if they cloned that clone kix or boba fett and made a new army of clones for the rebellion or would that not work??
There was a similar episode in Star Trek TNG, around season 2-ish.
Hey, bro, i heard you like clones, so we clone a clone so you can clone while you clone. (c)
damn... poor Boba, i knew about the clones, but i didnt know Zasha was the one who betrayed him....
its stories like this that really wish these was canon, these so much more to his character in the Legends series
If not for meeeee, then star killer clones
Aaahhh kill it, kill it with fire......what someone tried that oh crap
It's a great piece of writing having Boba say the Empire would always need him to hunt people, then discovering they were working to replace and mass-produce him.
I mean.....if Boba is a clone of Jango, then the clones are still clones of Jango...............just 2nd generation or some shit...
You should really try to kill your vocal fry and holding out syllables. It’s really distracting and results in bad story telling
Another fantastic video!
Time to watch all them uploads I missed! Nice seeing you still uploading
Mitsubishi Mirage since 2013 best miles per gallon non hybrid in the USA, better miles per gallon than most hybrid cars, chess king queen , palapateen king
I think that the cloned star killer is technically the real one, like perhaps the first starkillers soul entered the clone. Allowing the clone to become stable
Your delusional
Actually he's right, remember when the whole galaxy though sidious was dead. Well he did transfer his soul to a next clone of sidious, if I remember correctly it was the legends comic called shadow of the empire. Check it.
Vicent Serrano exactly and thank you. Normally force clones become berserk, but with SIDIOUS we saw that his clones came out fine since his spirit possessed the clone. The same could be said about starkiller
@@dragon091327 no problem👍
“Clones” “clones of a clone”
They’re the same picture
Edit: **remembers that Boba is no normal clone...and Jango is long dead**
Boba Fett is a clone of Jango Fett so Boba Fett clones are Jango Fett clones....
Wait. Boba Fett is a clone of Jango Fett which would make the clones of Boba clones of Jango.
Disney doesn't make anything new an original. They just create between the cracks.
I’m not a clone 😉 (shit) GOOD SOLDIERS FOLLOW ORDERS
The Force Unleashed arc of the EU is so much cooler than all this crap Disney is pumping out.
Unfortunately the clone rebellion failed
This is Canon for me!
Just imagine having both Jango and Bobbas for your army
Dennis Cleary they’re the same tho
@@mikal9904 cloned with different brain patterns, so physically same but not mentally.
StrenuousSpider Boba was Jango in every sense. An unaltered clone. By this logic every clone is unique. You’re just plain wrong
@@mikal9904
No I'm not. Bobba had a completely different life then Jango.
Your life experiences are what make you not entirely DNA. Since Bobba is unaltered and not made with the adult brain patterns of Jango. Hell child Jangos brain patterns would be different then adult. Clone troopers right out of the facility are all the same and change after due to life experiences. That's why they are all so similar yet a lot are different.
Bobba was a blank slate, his brain was left to develop his own patterns completely from 'birth'. Bobba and Jango mentally are two completely different people, same with clone troopers after they develop there own life experiences. However in the troopers case they will always be vary similar to Jango unlike Bobba who's brain is completely his own. While the troopers thinking patterns are similar to that of Jango, again not identical after they develop there own experiences.
Clones are not just copys of Jango. If they were they would not be massively inferior to Jango or Bobba. The only thing they would have copied from him would be his patterns not memories, so we are looking at his most basic of instincts. How his emotions work, how he process information, ect.... all things Jango further developed from his entire life. They do not get his skill, experience ect. This is why some clones are better then others. This is why many clones have there own personalities. But they are much more straightforward then clones like Bobba. Bobba did not receive jangos patterns. His brain was allowed to develop on its own without any meddling to make it similar to Jango like with the troopers. He grew up with Jango as a father, trained from an earlier age, has a life that is 100% different then Jango, therfore creating completely different brain patterns, emotions, skill, experience, ect.....
Here is something from actual real world cloning.
Thus, and as regards the genetic identity between what is being cloned and the clone, they would be identical in terms of the DNA of the cell nuclei. But they would have different DNAs in the mitochondria of their cytoplasm, since the clone’s cytoplasm comes from the egg’s donor, and this donor is usually different from the mother from which it is going to be cloned. This can result in differences in characteristics and organs -muscles, heart, brain- in which there is greater mitochondrial activity, which as we know are the “factories” of cell energy.
In addition, we should take into consideration that the initial development of early cygotes and embryos is governed by the proteins inherited from the egg’s ovum via cytoplasm, not by the genes of the nucleus. And subsequently, the operation of the nucleus’ genes continues to be influenced by the cytoplasm. In both cases, the cytoplasms of the organism being cloned and of the possible clone are different, and therefore their initial stages, which are crucial for development, can be very different.
Moreover, we should take into account that the development of an embryo and the expression of its genes depend on the intrauterine environment, with the ones from the clone and the nucleus donor being different.
And what is most important in the case of human beings, that the different characteristics of living beings (especially the complex ones like “attitudes” and “aptitudes”) depend on the interaction of their genes with the extrauterine environment in which they develop: nutrition, care, education, lifestyle, etc.; and this is where more epigenetic differences -especially because they develop at different times- may exist between an organism and its possible clones.
We do not know the complete cloning process in star wars, however this is the closest thing in the real world that we have to compare it too. There is also clones in other fictions that rarely ever are identically the same without there being some kind of memory transfer as well.
It's been pretty well know that clones do not act like the one they are cloned from, if that be real or not.
This is more then likely the reason why the clones undergo alterations to the brain to make them more like Jango, but again that's only directly from the cloning facilities, afterwards they all further develop there own personalities ect...... Bobba is unaltered therefore again his brain works completely different then that of jango.
This is why cloning facilities needed brain wave patterns. Brain, cell ect.. alterations and manipulation as well as speeded up growth. As that was the only way they could make clones as close to the original as possible.
You sound like the Zoidberg from Futurama when are you say and there we have it at the end of every one of your videos.
Bruh this makes no sense boba is a clone of jango fett but these clones are a clone of boba which means they are also clones of jango
So hear me out he was mad because him a clone himself was being cloned would that not mean that jango was being cloned or am I an idiot
Carson Kolarik No you’re right
I'm so sick and tired of Starkiller discusses me
Is it me or does the angry Clone look like Snoke? Is there where they got the idea for his design?
Star killer would have sensed boba trying to kill him and would have demolished him with the force
The force doesn't work that way. :P
For starkiller clones? Hell ya
Lol I mean how can he tell since he is also a clone ?
To be fair, Boba Fett is a clone of Jango Fett.
That made those clones of the clone.
For starkiller clones!
I have a question: were jedi ever carried assassination misssions?

He isn't a Fett clone, he was taken as a child from natural parents.
Clono Fett!
But boba is a clone of jango so it’s still just jango clones
Physically yes. But these clones would have Bobba brain patterns and not jangos.
Thanks for being straight up lore goodness without all the clickbait and rumor spreading the rest of the Star Wars youtube community is full of.
If not for me: would Vader hunt down Boba Fett for Destroying the Clone facyory?"
I hate to admit this as Bobba Fett is my favorite Star Wars character...Star Killer would wipe the floor with him. He would likely have to shoot Star Killer with a slug thrower. He would likely need Star Killer to be preoccupied before taking the shot and it would have to be a kill shot.

Did he go after the female bounty hunter afterwards for betraying him?
You know, you really gotta admire the man under the helmet to some degree when it comes to Boba Fett.
i know the emperor has millions of clones of him every time he dies he just goes into another clone

every clone of starkiller is force sensitive? is force sensitive is genetic or it's in the dna?
Well if they’d continued cloning Jango the clones would all be dead and have no head duh
Do we ever get to see him confront Xasha over the betrayal?
Good thing this is non-canon since one Anakin was enough
So y didn’t Vader kill or do anything about Boba destroying his clones
Because suicide isn’t a crime
Honestly never cared about Fett. His movie appearance was trash and it took so many books to fix it and build him up. Just never got why people liked a guy who’s life was often a failure.
Another Clone Army?

The rise of Skywalker secret to the ending:
What if Ben Solo did more than what we seen as the emperor thrown him down the hole at the end...
As palpatine was swindled by Rey (which was fair) more happened! His force essence was on the move quickly after, much like in legends where he started moving to new bodies and he did survive the death star 2, why not this? He was going frantic, more desperate than ever looking for a stronger vesil...
Before long, he came across the climbing Ben Solo purposly searching for him. He would of said something menacingly as a disfigured ghost essence terrifyingly began to float towards a struggling Ben. As he sensed the disturbing aura in the force he jumped, doing a front flip while moving backwards, for the high ground and shouted something like "it's over palpatine, you have lost".
Lost... maybe, but done he was not as the bit of ground he had found was getting smaller and smaller as the emperor slowly closed in to claim himself a very powerful weaked body.
A body of a Skywalker...
And then turned Palpatine, imagine the power... Ben felt cold but did not give in to fear, not even a little as all he was thinking was to join up with Rey! No longer did he feel fear or pain, he was done with that... He reached out with the force and stood the ghostly dark matter in place. Now standing up to him saying the same Luke told him himself decades ago, I won't join you it's over your highness. He would have none of this as you can imagine...
Got part 2 if anyone is interested 😂
