When we were in Ireland 3 yrs ago. I think we had seafood chowder and soda bread almost every meal. 😋 Goes great with an Irish pint ! 🍺 ☘️ Johnny foxes was our favourite pub. Very old with an Irish dance music show ❤️ Jamesons whisky was a great tour.
That's awesome! We definitely enjoyed the food in Ireland! Very hearty! We hope to squeeze in the Jameson whiskey tour on our next visit! Thanks so much for watching!😊
You guys are great. I love your enthusiasm and Nat did a better job than I would have with the rope bridge. I love how Nat always feels that the current experience is one of her favorites. Her energy is infectious
Aw, thanks! I definitely try, but I don’t always get it right, so that means a lot! We LOVED Northern Ireland! Such a beautiful place!😍 Thanks for watching!😊
A little tip for Americans visiting Ireland. If you are renting a car I would highly recommend spending that little bit extra and getting an automatic. That's unless you drive a manual in the states of course. You're already dealing with sitting on the other side of the car, on the other side of the road, and driving on roads a tiny fraction of the width you're used to, it's probably best you don't add in the extra complication of shifting gears with your left hand. You're going to want to keep both hands on the wheel for as much of the time as possible.
GUYSSS OMG the footage you got!! Each location was more amazing than the next! The video with the music incredible job! Nat I’m afraid of heights too ..you did great! Matt the driving I was cracking up ! And as always I am here for the bloopers!! 😂 love you guys
Aww thanks! We try to show the entrances & inside etc so people know what to expect whenever they visit or to make people feel like they are on the adventure with us! 🥰 lol
I'm so glad to see I’m not the only one obsessed with mashed potatoes! 😂 They’re the best comfort food, and it’s awesome to see someone who loves them as much as I do. Your adventures in Ireland have been so fun to watch, and seeing you enjoy mashed potatoes just makes it even better! Keep up the great content, Matt and Nat-your videos always make me smile!
OMG I can't believe you guys went to eat at the B&B I will be staying at in a month! I am looking forward to going so much more now after seeing your review of the food and the amazing time you had seeing all the sights.
Whaaat?! That's amazing! It's such a cute little place! Plus it's so close to so much that he Antrim Coast has to offer! We hope you have the best time! Thanks for watching and safe travels! 🥰
This is so bizarre but in 2018 I did these exact things in this exact order when I visited Northern Ireland. Other than the restaurant you guys went to
OMG this is the one thing I have wanted to do for years, I want to visit Irelsnd and just sit on the edge of the cliff looking out over the water....It looks absolutely amazing. I am newer to your channel and have been watching all your videos..i love them all. You both are incredable and I get so much out of the places you visit. Thank you, I live just outside of Savannah, GA...I really loved your video of your visit here. you guys are absoulutely living the dream and i enjoy living it vicariously throuh you guys.
I love you guys, always smiling and happy such positive energy. I am delighted to be going on these trips with you all. The countries are all beautiful in their own special way. However, I really enjoyed Ireland and it's beauty. I am amazed at Nat saying that she is afraid of heights, but always goes forward. You go girl, be my motivation. I am afraid of heights and need to confront my fears. Thanks for sharing your adventures with us. I truly appreciate these videos.😊
Nat you did great on that bridge. We only got from Dublin to Donegal on our round Ireland road trip due to road flooding. I couldn’t even walk the walls of Dubrovnik because the sides were so low. 🙅🏻♀️.
Aw, thanks so much! Yea, driving on the other side of the road definitely takes some getting used to, but we got pretty comfortable with it by the end of our trip!
This is my favorite Ireland video from you. More than anything I enjoyed seeing your personalities shine. Loved when you took time to be grateful to be there together. ❤ PS - I’m team Finn McCool! 😎
You guys are so darling! So glad I found your UA-cam channel. Heading to Ireland in two weeks. We will definitely be going to Bushmills Distillery and Bushmills Inn for lunch.
Another amazing vlog ! What can I say except you both are the best! Thank you for all the joy you bring…the bridge though you would have to send a helicopter 🚁 to come get me off that thing🤣 actually I wouldn’t even go near it 🤷♂️…Love you both👍🙏✈️
So did you guys take a train from Dublin to Belfast then rent the car there? We were thinking about doing that so we can come back to Belfast to return the car and take a ferry to Glasgow or Liverpool … great videos!
As I'm from NI, I know these places very well. My first visit to Carrick-a-Rede was long before the National Trust took it over, and to get to it you had to cross over the fields from the main road. The bridge had only one side roped, and there was only a single plank to walk, so it was quite terrifying for the first time. Today, that same feeling just isn't there because it's been made to cater for visitors, not fishermen. The Giant's Causeway - again - has been made so touristy, and does not give the experience of it's true character. Where you walk down the road from the main building, there was no nice wall on the right; however, there used to be an ageing old chap who sat there carving the red sandstone in figures and replicas of the coast - sadly now long gone. Personally, I think the charge they make is consistant with what's going on everywhere, i.e. a general rip-off, even though the money goes back into protecting the area. The best way (especially for those like me who have visited the place many times), is the free way down through the car park; but to get the real full experience, you need to leave the main rock formation and take the path up the cliff side to see the structures further up, like the Giant's Organ (not what you might think!!), and the spectacular views which can actually make you giddy! The path will take you for miles, but you only need to go a few hundred yards for the experience. I'm glad you enjoyed my favourite part of the world!
@@eadahh If I knew to what you're referring, I might be able to answer. Do you mean the video, the Causeway Coast, The Giant's Causeway, the ropebridge, the language, or maybe even me - a single word is not a question and I'm not a mindreader.
@@eadahh Sorry to burst your bubble bozo, but I'm neither Irish nor English. Apart from that, my nationality is none of your business. In ten words you've asked two questions - neither of them in standard Englsh grammar or with any punctuation. As I spend most of my time speaking with people that have a higher level of education, I really don't have time to deal with schoolboy language. I'll thank you to now stop trolling.
Very random question. Is New Zealand missing of the World map behind you ??? 😅 Sorry mu eye was drawn to it and I'm from Australia and always check to see if maps have Tasmania included and noticed I could not see New Zealand.
I can’t remember the name off the top of my head, but it’s on the screen (bottom left corner) at the beginning of that segment of the video. Thanks for watching!
The Causeway Coastal Route is a name that is new. It was thought up by PR people to funnel tourists to the North Coast and avoid the Glens of Antrim. The Tourist Board is still full of Loyalists who are still bigoted against the people of the Glens, who they see as the enemy because they are Catholic and want a united Ireland. The road has always been called the Antrim Coast Road, which does include the beautiful Glens of Antrim but they don't want the people there to have any tourist money. Bigotry is dying out but not in some institutions.
Glad that you came to visit Western Britain. Western Britain as an island is home to the western Uk and ROI. The British people are indigenous to all British isles. The irish celt/Gael came as an invading coloniser pushing the indigenous western British people northwards and eastwards on the island. The irish have created this erroneous history and propaganda that they are native to the British isles. This does not stand up to scrutiny as on closer investigation you realise that the irish Gael/Celt is indigenous to the Near East specifically the Caspian sea area. The weather is British Weather. Most people in what you call NI identify as British, the irish reside in the ROI.
I loved every moment of this; do me a favor- join Mat & Nat next year IN PERSON on their guided tour of IRELAND 2024…you’ve got this!!
Thanks so much! So glad you enjoyed it!😊

We would LOVE that! We hope to make it to Scotland soon! It looks amazing! 😍
If you come to Scotland you must visit Fingal's Cave on Staffa and see the (mythical) 'other end' of the causeway.

Oh my GOSH!!!! Now I have to go to Ireland ❤❤❤❤❤

Beautiful video! What month were you there? Thx!
Thanks so much Janet! This was filmed on May 26th. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching!🥰
Thank you! We just bought flights to go first of August ‘24, so really appreciated your video!
