I love how this channel has cars as 'one of the subjects' to also keep it in tone with the Autoalex 'universe', but Jack and Ethan mostly let their adventurous side shine through. Makes it unique!
It's the greatest thing they could've done for their channel and I'm all for it. The dynamic between these two is just hilarious, and I'll be blunt and say we don't need ANOTHER car channel that buys cars and puts BC Racing coil overs on them. Having said that, I'd love to see the odd car video as Jack does actually know how to work on cars and Ethan can continue to be the butt of the joke as he's a non car guy!

In the old days of Top Gear, I could imagine a similar program with a section from Auto Alex, a section from All the Gear and a section from Top Dead Centre filling an hour just perfectly. Well done!
This is what I was doing prior to an injury, walking old forgotten tracks and finding hidden gems. Love the energy guys, if you ever make it to Australia keep the explorers hats on.
i would love a series where you go to some race tracks in the UK and talk about their history etc. There are a lot of abandoned ones that have WW2 history
Really like these kind of videos. Please do more on historic car related places! Like the circuits, factories or landmarks. I'm sure there is a unique story too tell.
Thank you Polyphony for actually making the ww2 tunnel area come to life in the Nurburgring track. Im actually in Gran Turismo 7 right now to visit the tunnel area at turn 111. Im literally there and i can't believe the stairs and rails is so detailed. If only i can get on foot to go down to the tunnel on my own. Then again, this is not gta 😂 And thanks to you guys for that i learn something new today.
Yes, more of the same please?! The love of cars isn't just about the cars, it's about everything else associated with them, and above all, about the history. Perhaps a tour of the forgotten racetracks of Europe? Northern France and Belgium have a few - helpfully, a few of them are in places where they make pretty good beer.
How bout some tours around Sweden or Italy where the cars are made and tested there? Show us some of those countries as most of us Americans have never seen that stuff before.
MASSIVE props to Ethan who evidently had done tons of research prior to this video, so many interesting bits of knowledge and facts. Got to appreciate that sort of effort put into the videos. Well done mate x
the "rumble strips" on the south loop were suspension tests. the Ring was originally built from 1922 to 1927 to do vehicle testing, NOT racing. it was around for many years before it became popular as a racing facility. that hillclimb area, the tight bends, the high speed areas, and this bumpy bit, those were all meant to test different parts of the car. similar to VWs Erha-Lesseim facility, where the Bugattis do their top speed runs.
It was actually used for racing almost immediately. In June 1927, in the year the track was opened, they already hosted races for motorcycles and cars (the Eifelrennen). They kept doing that race every year until WW2, and continued afterwards.
The small "concrete loop" was known as the Batonshleife and it was used to warm the tyres before races and the combination of both the Sudshleife and Nordshleife was called the Gasemtstrecke which stands for total distance. And i'd love more of this. 👌🏻
I can genuinely say this is the first time in a long time I’ve seen a video about the Nürburgring that showed me something new that I had no idea about. The Nurburgring has been bled to death but you managed to do something new. Usually I have to see the name “Nurburgring” but this was great.

Ethan and Jack are great presenters. Nice to see a fresh channel with various ideas. How about a tour of UK visiting some of the magnificent bridges we have. As a bonus a budget car, go on then you can sleep in it on the trip
Best "Ring" video from anyone for ages. Usually everyone only goes there for one thing and one thing only and it just shows you that its not all about looning around the track. There are dozens of old abandoned tracks so it looks like you have a full time series on your hands now?
Looking at more abandoned race tracks sounds like a neat idea But maybe next time bring a Motocompo or something, hahaha (no joke, Motocompo on abandoned track would be good content)

This is exactly the content I love to see from your part of the autoalex extended universe, this was a genuinely interesting and enjoyable video to watch guys and I hope you keep it up 😁👍
These travelogues are really good. Most enjoyable. I wonder if those granite blocks set somewhat unequally (10:40) are for manufacturers to test their cars’ suspension?
