I came for the film stuff. I'm sticking around for amazing content like this. Great channel. I love how you framed yourself in the first shot. And your demeanor is cool man; appreciate you not trying to sell me anything (yet lol)
Damn... the extended versions of those 2 shots are so well done. It’s a shame they had to get cut short
Lewis, thanks so much for all the info and for answering my (and all of our) questions. Congrats on an incredible commercial!
Thank you so much for videos like this. They are incredibly helpful and it’s something I really look forward too man. Much love, keep up the greatness 💯
Love this! Just found your channel, and as a filmmaker who is currently on my journey leveling up from my own individual projects to larger scale productions this was truly insightful.
Thank you Lewis for being so open with your work and schematics. Appreciate it. Great stuff .
Wow love your work! Also really sympathetic how humble you talk about such a big project!!
Amazing work on this.
Appreciate all this valuable content! 🤝
appreciate these videos so much man its unbelievable the knowledge your giving us
love this laid back and straight to the point content !
There you go! can't wait for more content man, Thank you for this breakdown.
It's things like this that make me respect all forms of media- commercial, drama, soap, music video- because I can see how hardworking the crew are to just pull off a single shot at times, and also the creative problems that you encounter and how to solve them. As someone who's aspiring to work on a set, you've set the standard for me and I am so excited to learn more.
You are killing it bro! Creators like you are the proof that is never too late to build a youtube channel and that it's not over saturated, you just have to create good content like this.
You are freaking awesome.... and how you explain that with a monotone and such ease!! love this!! Waiting for the next video already. Ive already seen all your videos three times already!
Been waiting for this breakdown.
Let’s go!
Men such a great set of videos u got here. really helpfull for someone that never went to film school, really hard to find good content to learn, really appreciated
Great breakdown! Love it!
I love your videos. They're straight forward, simple and to the point. No promotional like subscribe bs or intro. "Just give me the information and move on." Keep up the great work. This is really helping me out!
over the past year i haven't shot very much due to some personal issues but your channel alone has reignited my drive to get out there and start making videos again.
thank you for that and thank you for providing such awesome content!
Great breakdown, these type of videos are always useful and you can always learn from them.
This is becoming my favorite channel for sure. Curious what your process is for deciding your shooting schedule. Like deciding what order or what shots to shoot on certain days etc.
I love how chill you are in your presentation and explanation. Well shared!
I couldn't agree more. Love this guy. Gives you the info, then leaves. No fluff.
Good Job Man / The crew ! Really enjoyed watching that !
Great job! Loved the explanation. It sucks when you have such amazing long takes but you can't use them later in the edit and have to cut them really short. It is really nice that you can show us now the full take in the BTS. Thanks Lewis!
So much goes into commercials. Excellent job! I appreciate you going through each shot and what it takes in a general way. I also like your simplicity with color grading. You know Resolve more then you let on. Thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge.
Hands down my new favourite channel! THANKS for sharing so freely dude!
REALLY APPRECIATE FOR YOUR WORK ON THIS! It's inspiring.
This was great. Thanks! More of this please

Thanks man 🌟
Great stuff. Thanks 🙏
Love your videos! So much good valuable information. I have learned so much from you and the way you teach. I also appreciate the fact that you don't have an unnecessary 5 minute glitch video intro title like everyone one else.
That room set is the room I WISH I had as a kid growing up
Congrats, really nice edit and project
Really thanks man. Keep it up✌
I would love more breakdowns like this!
This is savage bro. Thanks for posting

You are a Great DOP~! A fan of your works.
U r really good man🔥 congratulations
Epic Light Media sent me here. Glad I subscribed!
Literally been waiting for you to drop this when i saw this the first time i was shook when i saw your name as DP i was like no way
I love these, please making these.
Super interesting stuff. Loved the bits about adding colors in post and seeing the different light placements. I legit camera here to find out which camera this was shot on. I was really hoping it wouldn't be a Komodo but I couldn't for the life of me see any glitchy motion jitter I see with other (rolling shutter) sensors. Beautiful production!
This was good!
my favorite creator rn
wonderful video. Good job :D
Really great channel. Great presentation. Right to the point without dragging things out. And the results you get speak for themselves. I only wish you could show some examples using more prosumer gear, for those of us that don't have access to the high-end stuff. Regardless, the insight and inspiration is there. Cheers.
It all still applies to low budget filmmaking. Instead of quasars you can use cheap tubes and cheaper chinese or old industrial lights instead of expensive ones.
Instead of c stands, more people holding stuff or Jerry rigged photo tripods. If there's a will, there's a way.
thank you Lewis :)!!
Subbed bro, this was dope
i think the only thing left to talk about this would be the blue halation and the lense choice, this looks incredible, thumbs up
so brilliant!! amazing video.. thanks Lewis! which channels do you also recommend too that have great tips for colour grading
Thanks! Waqas Qazi has some good tips
You are making this stuff way too accessible - thanks Lewis! So entertaining.
Nice one mate!
Thanks man!!
Thank you
Thanks!
Sick bro
Love your style of shooting! Would love to see you using the Sony A7SIII for a project and hear your views on it!
Incredible look you achieved!
It's been great stumbling across your channel Lewis. Some great value here! Noting that there was both a Director and Creative Director for this project, did the director take more of a combined producer role on this? Seeing the Art Direction also involved 6 others? Best.
love this. super informative, I wish more commercial DPs broke down their work on UA-cam
Fantastic work! Love your content. When you weren't on the jib or tripod for the top shot, did you shoot handheld or with some sort of stabilizer?
This is just great, nothing to add...
Super cool
I'd love to see the pre production for this!
Good Job!
