You can use whatever u want for the top layer u want, like a big paper sheet (with print) which has to be capable of sucking in the epoxy or smaller pieces (eg letters) out of any kind of plastic foil. (Tubemax answer..)

This boards don't have a topsheet. To have a print you have to choices with this fabrication. You can put something between wood and glassfiber or you paint the glass fiber. The glass fiber will be covered by epoxy or an other kind of "verni".

How long did this whole process take?
2 weeks. Inthis you have waiting time for drying

how did you dril out the inserts ?
It was dreled before to glue it
where can you buy metal edging and p tex?
You have to find a ski fabricant for the edges. Glass and Carbon fiber can be found in big factorys who give material for the boat fabrication.
