dbz trunks was so badass. he had a demeanor of a seasoned and ever-willing protector of his time and people. and in super, he has to constantly resort to desperate measures and is forced to live like the oppressed by his own incompetence ( though it can be argued that he indeed lived like this before gohan's death but then he was not a protector, he was just a student ). trunks always thought that to save his timeline, he has to go find 'goku' ( as his mother told him to ). and look at this irony. his timeline is destroyed by goku even with goku helping him. bulma's death ( by goku black ) might be the most ironic, tragic deaths of future timeline.
