- Over the past five years, Hillsborough Castle and Gardens has been transformed both inside and out. The stunning State Rooms have been elegantly represented, with the introduction of new guided tours for everyone, whilst the gardens have been beautifully reimagined with lots to explore for the whole family. We've also got a brand new cafe, tea room and shop as well as Ireland's first Clore Learning Centre.

The restoration and re-presentation of Hillsborough Castle and Gardens was made possible by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, Mark Pigott KBE KSTJ, Garfield Weston Foundation, the Clore Duffield Foundation, the Foyle Foundation, the Wolfson Foundation and other generous donors.
I hope to visit. I LOVE THE HOUSE DESIGN and the garden even so beatfule and organized.

I was there yesterday. My only problem was the tour was too short. Only a few rooms so for over £30 I didn't think it was worth it. The gardens was alright. Staff was friendly and very good. Just the tour was in and out in less than 25mins. The two guides inside was very good the bus driver couldn't do enough for us. And we would go back again but not for the inside tour. As am from Belfast the last bit was a bit of a waste of time. The only funny thing was as an old friend of David Ervine etc was the chessboard. But as I said the cost of the tour for 5 rooms was not worth it.
Very awesome palace... someday Northern Ireland, keep wait... perhaps we will united again with the Ireland... they no have choice... keep wait...! 🌐🇬🇧❤️

Hi from America that is a very pretty castle and pretty paintings and pretty food and pretty garden and pretty everything. And I think we have some castles here in America. I know people live in castles. I wonder how old these castles are. How many bathrooms and bedrooms and how many rooms are in the castles. I don't want to live in the castle it is a very big place to live in and I think you will get lost in the castle. I am only one person. Take care everyone.

Formal garden is not my thing.I much prefered the country garden.......
The House and Gardens are beautiful . But then it is Spoilt by the two C. CPB. THEY RUIN EVERYTHING .
