Beterbiev made good adjustments and got the job done. Haters always hating. Just appreciate this great fight. Bivol did an excellent job as well. Bivol's mindset during this buildup has been very impressive, inside and outside the ring.

Arthur got countered all night. If walking forward is how you score fights then mayweather's opponents would get a lot of decisions against him. Watch the highlights, and show us the punches beterbiev landed and you'll see he landed very few clean.

Arthur got outboxed by counters, speed, fotwork.. Boxing is not about "walking some body down" its about landning more significant blows then your oppenent. And Bivol did that! Big respect to both fighters for being so brave and stepping in the ring
Artur won , had teddy favoured bivol all these gamblers and drunks would have been saying yeah teddy is the man. Bivol did not do enough he was hurt he was afraid and his face showed.

Bivol gave away the final few rounds soo easy unfortunately. I know he was exhausted because he was being pushed back however those championship rounds are so damn vital!!
Beterbiev was also doing something called “steal” the rounds.

Dude gimme a break smfh! The Oakland bivols won 21-6 and it wasn't close. Ya Golden State beterbeiv's were up going into halftime but they made several unforced errors, missed every extra point, missed 5 of 7 free throws, and shouldve taken mulligan in the third inning. The bivols got robbed.

Beterbiev won, period. COMPUBOX ruled out Beterbiev won with 6 rounds, Bivol won 5 rounds and 1 round was a draw. When people lost their BETs they say a lot of shit.

I need to watch the fight again but I had Bivol winning round seven. It was really a close fight. As I was watching I thought Bivol was landing more and working good on defense, but Beterbiev pushed the pace all night long. It was really a great close fight but the judge who gave Beterbiev eight rounds needs to be checked for dementia.

That’s called stealing the rounds and guys like Mayweather would do it.
He comes on at the end of the round since people usually remember what happens at the end of the round

He publicly picked bivol before the fight. Many times on many networks. This was a great fight, bivol the younger fighter was hurt and tired. He was in survival mode for the last 6 rounds

When push came to shove Bivol shelled up and couldn't do anything but keep his guard up and retreat. That's the bottom line.

Great fight from two elite warriors. Artur edged in my humble opinion , Bivol got hurt when he exchanged with Artur and remained too inactive due to this in the later rounds. He had dominant rounds 8/9 where he definitely buzzed Artur. I think in a rematch Artur stops him with a 100 percent knee.

To everyone on here that is saying that Beterbiev won the fight because he was coming forward all fight, you need to understand that simply coming forward doesn't win fights. Effective aggressiveness and ring generalship is what judges are supposed to score, and I hate to tell you this, but Beterbiev's coming forward wasn't effective and he didn't display ring generalship at all. Bivol was the one demonstrating ring generalship throughout the fight. He was turning Beterbiev, he was counter punching beautifully, and he was the one landing the most clean, and effective punches. Beterbiev's punches weren't landing clean at all. They were being blocked by Bivol's gloves, arms, and elbows.

A lot of Berterbiev's work was not getting past Bivol's guard.
It was breaking the guard and Bivol was covering up and nothing was coming back at all.
