Prayer to Know God More Intimately. My dear Heavenly Father, as I come before your throne of glory today, I kindly seek to know You more intimately. My heart yearns for a deeper connection with You, for an understanding, that transcends the surface of faith, and delves into the profound mysteries of Your everlasting love, and grace. Your sacred word guides me in this pursuit, illuminating my path, and drawing me closer to Your holy presence. Your sacred Scripture speaks to this longing, in James 4:8; "Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” My sweet Lord, I embrace your promise, seeking to draw nearer to You, with each passing day. Please help me to clear away the distractions, and obstacles, that prevent me from experiencing Your closeness. As I draw near, I feel Your holy presence envelop me, comforting, and guiding me through every circumstance. Another verse, that resonates with my quest is Jeremiah 29:13; "And you will seek Me, and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.” Almighty Father, I commit to seeking You with all my heart. I pray for an undivided heart, that yearns only for You. In my moments of doubt and confusion, remind me of Your unwavering promise, that if I search earnestly, I will indeed find You. Please fill my soul, with a burning desire to know You more, to understand Your perfect will, and to walk in Your holy ways. My Lord of Hosts, I confess that there are times, when I allow the busyness of life, to overshadow my relationship with You. I get caught up in the demands of daily responsibilities, forgetting to pause, and spend time in Your holy presence. Please forgive me for these moments of neglect. Instill in me a discipline, and a fervor to seek You consistently. Let my prayers be sincere, and my worship be heartfelt, reflecting a true longing for intimacy with You. As I meditate on Your sacred Word, open my eyes to the depths of Your divine wisdom. Reveal to me the truths, that lie beneath the surface, the profound insights, that can only be understood, through the guidance of Your Mighty Holy Spirit. May my study of your Holy Scripture, not just be an intellectual exercise, but a transformative experience, that brings me closer to You.
