yes really.. no value to items. cookie cutter builds. very cartoonish graphics. it ran smooth was a plus but the system was shit. rifts were a good idea but the lack of focus on builds and gear is just awful. you couldnt find a tyreals might and feel king of the world.
I deleted the game today because of him. It's stupid how you lose all your gear when you die and have to go back for your stuff empty handed. Fuck that game.
The 2nd boss drove me over the edge as my barbarian character. Every time I died death takes half of my money it just gets frustrating I couldn’t finish my favorite game because he always kicked my ass
I keep all pink potion i founded in game for this battle, my barba face to face with Duriel. That my experience after deleted my first barba character :D
When going against Duriel, first thing when you enter the Tal Rasha's Chamber is to open the portal for escape, second thing it's always good to have merc and also equip him with good armor and weapon, third thing is if the wall is behind you then Duriel can't knockback you and be sure to have many rejuvenation (pink) potions, i used horadric cube to transmute them into Full rejuvenation potions that heals you 100%, I used Barbarian with Double Swing and Shout, it took me only 2 Full rejuvenation potions
@@scottnito2640paladin full cold resist and many health potions. Sacrifice, smite or Zeal can kick Duriel’s ass. Thawing potions can help you with the cold damage. Use Strength RW for Crushing blow, ‘cause Black require lvl 35 to use 😂
Its because you can't escape Duriel, imagine if you battle Diablo in Tal Rasha Chamber, he has Cold slow and Red Lightning, not to mention Bone Prison so you cant escape that fast...

I started playing again and I never played act V because I didn't had LoD expansion and now I'm at Nihlathak quest, I'm pretty sure Diablo until now is the hardest boss by far because if you put him in a small room just like Duriel is in his chamber he might be impossible to defeat because of his Red Lightning which is insane, Diablo is predictable but his biggest weak spot is that you can easily run away from him in Chaos Sanctuary but I must admit that first time i used like 15 potions to defeat him, Andariel - 1 rejuvenation p., , Duriel - 2 rejuvenation p., Mephisto - 2 rejuvenation p.
I played Diablo 1 and then 2 many years ago and am just now revisiting the game. It's so timeless and arguably one of the best games ever made. I love it. Anyway, I'm currently playing Diablo 2 Lord of Destruction and wondering if I should just stick with it, or keep going. Thoughts anyone?

Crushing Blows are insanely overpowered against bosses to the point where bosses on Hell difficulty are at their easiest as you should have at least some crushing blow chance by then.

Duriel without any supporting unit is a real pain in the fuc%/g ass... That frost aura, my god... I dont remember how many times i died the first time, but i reach a level were i just go there, hit him 3 times and die.... and start again, leaving my gold in the floor near my stash
Why do you only used Exploding Arrow and the Amazon summon? You could have used Immolation Arrow while the Amazon summon was fighting the bosses. They could have been burning in fire damage all the time while fighting the summob
Duriel...when i first time fight him, its make me wanna quit and play other game. Until i heard about a hero editor things. I edit my hero and stuff, give much buff. In the end, i still died😂
Ive been playing this game since the expansion first came out. Always used a Druid, never had a problem with Duriel. Best advice is take your time. Alot of people just wanna run through it. I go through each area at least 5 times before I move on.
Everyone here saying that they more problems with Duriel and i had a really bad time with Mefisto with my Necro summoner, not a problem with my Lightning Sorcerer tho.
Yesterday i was fighting Diablo.. first difficulty. (I am not playing these kind of games so i am not awesome player). I died once but i beated him. How i died? Actually after 10 years of not playing i didnt know that Diablo can block your portal!!! But there is other catch. When you come back through a portal - the b9ne cage can still be there and YOU WILL GET STUCK. Diablo performed that Khamehameha from lightning and he killed me. So tip on fighting Diablo - make sure to have high damage ability when coming back to fight
I think it depends on a monitor, the one I have now stretches the game full width buy few years ago I had a smaller one that did not, try you gpu drivers settings too 😊

Fighting Duriel on melee is a nightmare

be hits for extra fire dmg. and added physical dmg. so you could a. glass cannon him or b. stack those 2 resistances
You need good armor and attack rating in order to beat him quite fast, if not, that double strike he has will crush you.
Especially becuz of his stun

Good idea but most casters can’t face tank duriel so that really only works for barbarian and maybe paladin
