    Love your vids mate, definitely inspires me to get out there. Am a beginner bow hunter (been out on 3 hunts thus far another in Easter) watching your vids most definitely helps learn a few things :)

    Thanks again Zeb. Awesome article in “Wild Deer & Hunting Adventures” magazine from Glenda which I hope turns into followers and bookings. Glenda’s was a great vid as well. Was going to enquire for a trip but I don’t think I’ll be able to afford you now. 👍👍

    Haven't got my gun licence yet but I do have a Bow. Got me keen. My aswell walk out my back gate and have a crack this arvo. Cheers for a good watch. Also how do you go with snakes and spiders camping like that. Heaps of em around here

      Good to hear you are getting out there. It's simple....just brush the spiders off and poke the snakes with a stick, and all is good 😆. I've never had any problems with snakes or spiders, though I've had a few sleepless nights over bull ants and possums

      I believe so mate but every so often you do see young deer with similar antler formation so it's hard to say

    I went for my first Sambar hunt recently. When do you find the stags are most active or rut? Do you ever use your deer caller to call in deer that you don't know are around if you are just sitting and waiting. Is there any way to call in other Sambar stags during the rut. Like roaring in red stags ect. Thanks

    • @ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures
      @ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures  Рік тому +1

      I don't bother trying to call stags and usually only call for fun or to stop them for a shot. The rut is area specific but now I a great time to see active stags

    Nice footage Zeb
    Good to get close to them
    Maybe Justin should of let a arrow fly as he may never get a chance like that again and a sambar stag of any size with the bow would be right up there in hunting achievements 👍

    • @ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures
      @ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures  2 роки тому

      Yeah I tried to convince him to take the old boy buy he had eyes only for the big stag we saw earlier

    • @shanecoleman9313
      @shanecoleman9313 2 роки тому

      Yep that's why he got to be big as he didn't hang around for arrows and projectiles lol
      Shoot them when you see them as you most likely won't see the again
      I'll get wild deer this week and read about Glenda's hunt also 👍

    Remember boys, devices such thermal etc are prohibited for hunting sambar.
    So I wouldn’t advertise it.

    • @ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures
      @ZebrasSambarhuntingAdventures  2 роки тому +1

      🤣 I was talking about air currents (thermal draft). Jim they rise when it's warm air so get above the deer.
