I have a deauther watch V2 and it's amazing. I have one question though (maybe it's a very dumb question). I'm very new at this, but, if I start a Beacon and Probe attack, where can I see the data transmitted? or Do I need an additional device to see that?
Does it have a setting to Autostart the Attacks everytime you power on the board so I dont need to go the web ui to manually start it? thanks this a great worl btw!

Such an amazing project. Really appriciated!. I have a tiny doubt, I recently made a deauther using esp8266 following your GitHub tutorial. It's working great, my question is, what's the range for this device? Does the range only matter for connecting the esp8266 or other devices on the network? Can I deauth devices from a distant place if the wifi signal is available? Does it have to be closer to devices on the network to send packets? Would love to know :) once again great work

Cool, I just got version 2 working today on the board I'm using so it would be great to get this version working also.
Only need to fix a bug for one of the buttons by adding a pullup resistor so the chip doesn't think I'm pressing the button all the time before I try this newer version.

Okay. After hrs of playing with updates. My original Dstike Oled v2 had better code apparently. After updating to 2.6..... There is no settings and the web interface is prettymuch useless. I get errors in the serial monitor when attempting to scan networks telling me to format json. The physical device works fine but the web interface and options are missing content.

Hey @spacehuhn is it possible to add logging for the beacon attack in the UI? For example if some tries to connect to a spawned beacon , it would log the credentials , the beacon ssid and time stamp?
The web interface seems to not show any of the scanned AP's . Why? I've updated to 2.6.1 and it still doesn't populate the Access Points or the Stations. It only displays in the OLED screen on the device itself. WHY? Is this a known issue?
Also the SETTTINGS page shown no settings at all. wth?

Thanks for sharing, I have just created my deauther using Nodemcu and i2c OLED display, everything works fine except the push button. I tried to a lot and also tried to find out some solutions online but nothing works, can you please have a look at this issue if possible?

It's when your laptop or smartphone remembers the networks it has connected to before, so when you turn on it's wifi, it screams out loud "Hey, is my home network nearby?!?!, what about Starbucks wifi? You there!?" that's a probe request.
If any of them are nearby they respond and begin connecting

the web files are often cached in your browser. you can try using a different one to force a fresh copy

So I picked up the Yizhet ESP8266 ESP-12E, and wanted to play around with this on my own home network. There's no real guide to which .bin to get... I have a small 0.96 OLED and three push buttons....

Bit late, but the wiki reads:
"The ESP8266 supports 2.4GHz WiFi, which is already very impressive if you think about how small, powerful, accessible and affordable this system on a chip is!
A lot of people are asking for 5GHz support, however this project is not able to do that.
As of right now (2018) no hackable 5GHz SoC is available in the form of something like the ESP8266.
Even if someone would make such a chip, it would be incompatible with this software.
You could build a dual band Deauther with a Raspberry Pi and the right WiFi module.
But as of right now, it's not always easy to find good Dual-Band WiFi chips that support packet injection and monitor mode.
⚠️ THE ESP8266 DOES NOT AND WILL NOT SUPPORT 5GHZ! ⚠️
Devices supporting this are more expensive and need special drivers (this will change in the future as new chips are released all the time). But if you want to try it, look for the rtl8812au or rtl8811au WiFi modules. Those have already been used to inject packets at 5GHz."

Hello Spacehuhn! I found a chip on internet possible for "5G WIFI DEAUTHER PROJECT" using the BW16 RTL8720DN, the same as the ESP 8266 Node MCU. I saw a video on UA-cam of the BW16 RTL 8720DN equipped with 2.4 + 5G dual band WiFi. Same size of the ESP 8266 Node MCU. I think you can make a 5G WiFi Deauther on it. I hope you will review that chip. I can't attach the pictures and PDF regarding that chip to your contact support page. Thanks. I think it is POSSIBLE!

Helloooo i have bought deauther watch v3 even with red laser :))) and also i got a issue… the beacon mode kinda fked up it rarely shows even 1 beacon even with random mode :(( deauth works perfect and beacon doesnt… it worked and it still randomly does work but when i need it, it dies.. i just unboxed it yesterday :/
