Surface Pro 7 screen replacement versions 1 or 2 (how to tell)

This video is a showing the difference in the two types of model screens for the surface Pro 7. If they crack it is confusing to replace due to this issue. This helps in this replacement.

Are the connectors different from version 1 and 2?

The connectors (the physical place where you have to connect the wires to the display) are the same, but arranged differently. I know this because I bought the wrong screen (I need LP123WQ1, but bought LP123WQ2).
I connected it and it works correctly, but I can't assemble it - because the screen is in the wrong place (slightly shifted).
What I want to know - could I just buy wires for LP123WQ2 - or I have to buy another screen?

i dont think so, ive read through everything on the outside of this thing and it says nothing! Guess i gotta open it before i order the part eh? I hate having to do that.

anyway you will open device, so just open it and order correct display :)
