used to fish there in the late 80s, I lived in Terrigal and worked at Peppers On Sea, I'm back home in Hawaii now, I sure miss the Central Coast and all the wonderful people I met there. Cheers Mate
Hey Colzy - I’m glad the video brought back some memories! Such a great spot, really good fun. It can definitely get very busy down there on a weekend - great weekday spot ha ha!
Hey mate! Thanks for the compliment, I’ll be uploading many more videos soon just moved to another part of NSW so it’s been tough ahah! So, I run any form for jigs typically between 30 and 60 grams! It depends on the swell and the wind as well - I can go all the way up to 100 grams at times! In the video I believe I was using a Halco Twisty 40g!
@sebgadventures7300 honestly brother my backpack is a kmart job and it holds a fair bit and has three main sections aswell as small side pockets it's not heavy!! I think I paid like $30-$40 and it hasn't failed me yet..
Hey mate, I appreciate the comment! Slammer IV 5500 with 30lb braid to 50lb trace :) The metal lure was a 20g Halco Twist metal lure! You can get them for about $8-$12 depending on size.
@@SebGAdventures nice video mate thinking about heading out and catching my 1st one too. Just a quick question, How long is the leader you used ? Thanks in advance brother
Hey mate, unfortunately I don’t have an Instagram account! But definitely keen for a fish someday. I normally fish around lake Mac! I’ll make a Insta and message ya soon! Stay tuned for more content :)
