@@KnowledgeSharingTech i already have a new Alpine headunit that has an external mic, I guess I will move this to the Carpuride, if I get one. Also the backup camera will be nice. Now I mounted a backup camera that has a dedicated foldable display on my dashboard. Works fine but is not great. Thank you again for sharing a valuable review on a product you are actually using. Most of the videos on youtube are paid reviews from people that only test it once, but in reality you can only tell after some time of using a product. I guess I will purchase one in the near future, maybe the pro verssion.
Do you have a 3d printer? You could make a nice trim to finish it off where it tucks into the dash and hide the partial logo. It will look oem then. Eitherway, still a great install
I enjoyed your informative video, thank you! Did you have any issues with calling through carplay and hearing through your car audio connected via bluetooth? I've heard others say this was problematic.
I've had nothing but trouble with mine. Mostly with the Bluetooth connection the stereo. I will find it once but when I restart the unit, the car or the stereo it can't find it again. I got sent a new OS and while it looks better it still has the same problems. Actually it created a couple more problems like random reboots. The only good thing about this is that the customer service is at least trying to help me figure out the problems. I will probably end up returning it.

Please make that hardwire install video! Great work, looks awesome!
Thank you and noted
I really enjoyed this review, looks like you are a real user, not only a paid review.
Can you do any additional comments after a few weeks of usage?
Thanks. The device works very good. The only thing needs improvement is the mic. You can remedy this by connecting an external 3.5 mm mic.

Thanks, good idea but I don't have a 3D printer.

The device works perfectly for calls, its mic though is not so good. I ended up connecting an external mic to it.
Did you end up making a video on hiding the power cable? Thanks.

@@NigelNaughton how did it go
cut the plug off and hard wire it with a switch. Hide the wire in the dash.
Is that even legal to have that panel partially blocking your view?
It is wide but not too tall. So it doesn't block the view
It's quite a modest install, I see people on a daily basis much worse than this with phone or sat nav suckered in the middle of the windscreen.
lmfao OEM install .
