Absolutely incredible compilation... I'd just add 5 more to update it (with 2018 in mind) to TOP 25: 2002 - Rivaldo's goal against Belgium (similar to James's) 2006 - Spanish one-touch combination vs Ukraine by Fernando Torres 2010 - Diego Forlan's volley vs Germany (any of his 2010 goals would actually be a worthy addition) 2018 - Benjamin Pavard's volley 2018 - Stones's finishing of a remarkable free kick signal (England vs Panama)
I must admit that I’ve had a hard time believing that Maradonna scored the goal at #1 because most times I saw the defender come from behind to try and tackle him and it felt like he might’ve played a role in the goal. But thank goodness you slowed the clip down and showed the close up for me to see that Maradonna did in fact kick the ball with no interference.
It was a well done video! Great goals being chosen. No doubt about the number one goal. I still think Diego's second goal against Belgium in 86' should be there, top 3 or 4.

Some of the greatest goals were by Germany and where was Tardelli's iconic world cup final goal? Diego is number 1 but a Saudi player scores a similar solo goal and not in the top 10 ! Pele was good but over hyped.
@@antoniosilvestro2494 correct. Some of our players scored quite some good goals. The goal in the final of 2014 for example might not have been the very best but still very good though and technically very difficult to do. Or Fischers backflip of 1982. But these videos are always dividing peoples opinions. Anyway, good goals though.
I lasted till the end, even though I pretty much knew what was going to be #1. The sound lasted until about #16 like you said. Truly no need for that soundtrack over the top of the video.
Bergkamp is top 3 or top 2 ! What a genius with a very long assist, perfect control, perfect finition. Van Persie and James Rodriguez at least top 10 for me.
What I also loved about Diego's wonderful goal was the raw passion in the commentator's voice. You know that this goal, this World Cup victory over England meant everything to him and his fellow Argentinians....
It happened immediately after a horrific foul on Hoddle so it should have been disallowed. England were actually the better team in that match and would have won it with a decent referee.
Actually, Baresi and Massaro missed their penalties (while Brazil missed just one penalty, by Marcio Santos if I remember correctly), so Baggio's mistake was not a really decisive one.
Hand of God should be 2nd and Belgium one should be 3rd lol. Diego the greatest player in history what you did in all the world cups people still love and admire and talk that you are 1 off a kind. Shame on England for Falklands War. Revenge is Sweet. ARGENTINA for Ever. From Kashmir
Maradona's is the best of all time in football history. When he received the ball 2 players were already dogged. But the way Bergkamp did, its looks like he is drawing something on the green canvas.
Everyone underestimate Pelé's 58 goal. First brazilian world cup. Finals. The defender tries to break Pelé's leg in the play. Pelé is only 17 years old. Respect the GOAT
I was 7 years old when the hand of god went in and I thought it was disgusting and unsportsman like. Then Maradona scored the greatest goal in world cup history....erm.....ok I'll be quiet 😮😮😮
Best and worst of Diego. BTW in South America and Italy, Spain and gemerally southern nations handballs and playing actors is considered as skills not shame.
Carlos Alberto's goal is way more dazzling, being a coral effort of a spotless team full of some of the greatest champions in the history of football, look at the whole action and just amaze at every single touch of the ball, regardless by which player. It deserves to be ranked first, as football is a team sport. And I'm saying this as an Italian fan.
All said and done, to each his own but that Long Aerial Pass from Dalry Blind to Van Persie and the perfect timing of Flying in Air heading the Ball creating a curve simply Stupendous that's an epitome of Great Goal in FOOTBALL
Diego could have had an even greater career without his drug promblems...! It's sad that even today some people mock him for his problems. In my heart he will always be remembered as a fantastic player!
As an English fan, he is my favourite player of all time, and I’m only 14 so I didn’t even live through his career, he’s my inspiration, in 1986 he played with a dreadful Argentina team, and he was always going to win the World Cup at all costs, and he should always be remembered for that World Cup for his dedication and devotion, which is one thing he has over Messi, but I dont want to compare them too much, Maradona is a legend and when messi retires he will also be a legend
Imagine a guy scoring the most controversial and beautiful goals in the same game and I was lucky enough to witness his greatness live on tv. RIP Don Diego! The undisputed king of football!

I'm not Argentine but Deigo Maradona was simply a class above the rest of the world and His goal was out of this world. Maradona number 1. But the I'm so surprised that the great Ronaldo (Brazil) & Gabriel Batistuta got no mention. May be Nehlino against Italy in 1978 should have got a mention????
The truth is that all of these goals are fantastic but we have to admit that the Maradona's deserve a standing ovation even after all these years!!!! 2022

Absolutely incredible compilation... I'd just add 5 more to update it (with 2018 in mind) to TOP 25:
2002 - Rivaldo's goal against Belgium (similar to James's)
2006 - Spanish one-touch combination vs Ukraine by Fernando Torres
2010 - Diego Forlan's volley vs Germany (any of his 2010 goals would actually be a worthy addition)
2018 - Benjamin Pavard's volley
2018 - Stones's finishing of a remarkable free kick signal (England vs Panama)

I must admit that I’ve had a hard time believing that Maradonna scored the goal at #1 because most times I saw the defender come from behind to try and tackle him and it felt like he might’ve played a role in the goal. But thank goodness you slowed the clip down and showed the close up for me to see that Maradonna did in fact kick the ball with no interference.
It was a well done video! Great goals being chosen. No doubt about the number one goal. I still think Diego's second goal against Belgium in 86' should be there, top 3 or 4.
I was thinking exactly the same..
I agree 100 percent

To make the whole country into one great, clenched fist, shaking, shouting for Argentina? . . . Diegoal! Diegoal! Diego Armando Maradona!

@@antoniosilvestro2494 over hyped lol
@@antoniosilvestro2494 correct. Some of our players scored quite some good goals.
