The product variety has decreased drastically. Prices in local liqueur stores are almost half of what you see here at the moment and there are more options.
For a sub €50 budget you couldn't beat - Bushmills Black at €32 and that too 1L. Or a good second choice The Famous Grouse Smoky for sub €25 under I would have choosen any two from these - Bowmore 10 Aston Martin Laphroig Four Oak Chivas Regal Mizunara Cask Takisker Dark Storm Single Malt Scotches were cheaper than Jack Daniel's which was €45 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 I hate it when duty free don't have Johnnie Walker Green Label. It's a fool proof scotch, not too sweet not too smoky, available worldwide Whether you are vacationing in Asia or Bahamas or the Fjords.
Thanks for your great response. Some interesting selections, need to take a look at some of your suggestions. They seem to push island green at the duty free but not the green. I do like the Johnnie Walker green label. Only the blue label is better. Cheers. Thanks for watching
@@WhiskyLoversSociety Island Green is a Talisker dominant blend of the original. The Original Green Label is a fine balance between Talisker and Linkwood where as Caol Ila & Cragganmore are supporters. Blue Label is only good if found at 149-159, no more than that. To splurge on Johnnie Walker at duty free always hit the XR 21 or King George V. At Singapore Changi Duty Free XR 21 was at unbelievable $199.
I some to one of the shop assistants and he tells me that there whisky range are now about 50% less after the pandemic. Getting stock seems to be a problem. They are struggling to get some Japanese whisky as well
