I agree with the idea that CBS make a huge mistake cancelling the show. I also don't know whether it were the cast wage demands or some another reason which made to decide not to re-take the show. But leave hanged so many viewers, supporters and fans,,, well, it has no excuse :(
Nice video. Originally when the show aired I was watching something else but I've been catching the reruns and I love this show. Always liked JLH. I was so captivated by the episodes I bought Season 4 on iTunes and watched 90% of them in one sitting. It would be nice if they released any episodes recorded for season 6 and then made a movie to wrap-up loose ends! The best part of the show to me was the chemistry between Jennifer Love Hewitt and David Conrad. The Melinda and Jim Love story.
Right after it got cancelled I heard ABC was thinking about picking it up. I wish they had because maybe they coulda brought back what I loved about the show when I first started watching.

They canceled it because the ratings dropped in the last season. ABC kicked around the idea of picking it up where CBS left off, but they decided against it. There were also rumors that Jennifer Love Hewitt and some of the other cast members wanted more money, but I have no idea if that's true or not. GW replaced Joan of Arcadia years ago, and everyone who wanted that show back signed petitions online to try and get it back but it didn't work, so I don't know if that would help if we tried that.
