Have respect for both the winners and losers. Sportsmanship, people, sportsmanship. Is it dead?

@Cruyff1987 Lots of English players have said that he can be the next Shearer.Owen and Beckham are the only ones still playing. So who cares about that list? And Hateley,Wilkins,Stevens, all came to Rangers. And I am pretty sure we signed Gary Stevens from a English club.Your thinking about Trevor Steven, and we had him to.I have to de code what you type. Its like playing a cross word or something with you.SOUNESS,LAW,JORDAN,ARCHIBALD,BLACK,McINALLY,JOHNSTON,COLLINS,LAMBERT,all played abroad 2 for us.
don't be so stupid, the great teams of international football are greatly admired and respected in England. Watch this game back, it is the hardest fought game by England of the whole 98 tournament
Let's not be complete asses on youtube again, I'm from Finland and everyone knows we are the best football nation in the world - so hear it from me, Argentina vs England clashes are legendary, two great rivals giving it all they got, some classic games, some great joy and heartbreak - and often going to the penalties, sadly enough - but that's how it works between two equally masterful teams. Have respect for both the winners and losers. Sportsmanship, people, sportsmanship. Is it dead?
Yeah, this game WAS pretty great. England outplaying Argentina for 73 minutes with only ten men after Simeone's cheating...great stuff. And then Argentina dumped out in the next round easily, with Bergkamp showing them what REAL class is.
got you back in 2002 and 2005
Thomas Williams 2005??? What games were played? The WC was in 2006 and Argentina did not face England.
Ernesto Gasulla friendly game england won 3-2

Ironic that for a country so bad at penalties Alan Shearer was so good at them.
Freddie Blake
And so was Owen!
I've seen many penalties and penalty shootouts but still haven't seen a goalie save one heading towards either of the top corners.
And matt le tissier
Well, all of south america was...and not to mention argentina was under a military coup
@lexa9876 i see what ur saying bro, but still i dont understand how that can be...when rivaldo got the ball on his knee, the turkish dude didn't shoot hard, and he aimed low, and beckham givin ur fellow argentine a minor kick, i see that this is not called for but those are but tiny signs of irritation. and as long as they dont injure a player i dont think it should be more then a yallow card max. i hope you see what i mean. if beckham had injured the guy, then i would totally agree.
in fact, that's exactly what I meant - arrogance! you call me stupid without knowing who I am, what I've seen, or anything at all for that matter. Merely because my opinion is not in favor of England. As to the topic - if you've seen English fans who have respect to other teams, then you're in a good circle. I obviouly had my reasons to say what I said. and trust me - these reasons are not groundless. Good luck.
Great game! Very intense. Vamos Argentina!
Didn't Campbell get a goal disallowed in ET, and again vs Portugal 04 same situation? Unlucky...also fairly wimpy pen by Ayala to win it.
SOMOS LOS MEJORES! WE´RE THE BEST!
England have been always the victim of PK.
@pilkingtonhero Aww c'mon. You saying the Premier League isn't the most competitive in the world?
