One of the big reasons this is one of my all time favorite movies is the great soundtrack music that Jerry created. He was a true master of his craft......
One of the great action scores of our time.
Christ, thanks for Jerry. One of the great movie ever and music.
This also has tones of Conan the Barbarian to it.

It’s amazing
Might be the only time I can think of when just pasting previous cues into an end credits sequence worked. I'm assuming that Goldsmith wasn't involved and the film makers made this decision, although that raises the question of what Goldsmith's plan was for the end credits?
The end theme is actually subtly different to the opening one. But they reuse the Mutant because it's one of the greatest pieces of film score ever written.
It was to subtly suggest Quaid was dreaming all along at Recall.
This musical score confirms that the movie was a dream and it was time for Quaid to wake up
Open your mind!!
Alongside the theme for Gremlins 2: The New Batch, this is one of my most favorite tracks from Jerry Goldsmith.
uh dude, "The Mummy (1999)" would like a serious word with you
@@DrQuagmire1 Oh, my bad! I like Goldsmith's track for that movie as well. 😅
@@sacredf8 same here. for me, the one titled "Sand Volcano" is the best one (next to the intro music cue), because it has that really romantic part that plays during the first part of the ending credits during the movie.
What's mind blowing is that Goldsmith composed both Total Recall and Gremlins 2 in the same year 1990.
This song plays in a videogame and it's driving me nuts trying to remember what one hahahaha It must be in the menu or something bc I recall hearing it a lot...
R Type Delta (PS1) ship selection music? It's uncannily similar.
Epic
