In case anyone else came here like me looking for the weather vane footage, it's a 8:47. Also, just an FYI, the boat, a schooner, is pronounced like 'skooner'. I'm from a sailboat family otherwise I wouldn't know how to pronounce it out loud either. Doesn't exactly come up in everyday conversation.
Every year as a kid we would go to Whitehall to visit my grandparents. I LOVED this place. We would stay at the White Sands Motel in room #10. What GREAT memories!!!!!!
Thank you very much! I am glad you are enjoying the videos and learning from them. As I do research on different places as well as visiting the places, I am learning a lot about Michigan along the way, too! Thanks for watching!
And me too, I can' wait to visit Michigan! I'm actually on my way up to Sault Ste Marie and into Canada. But along the way I will be visiting all of these quaint towns along the lakeshores of Michigan. I love lighthouses and didn't realize that Michigan had the most lighthouses in the US! Thanks so much for all the info of this beautiful state :)
I agree! I'm thinking the clouds scared everyone away. I was just there a few weeks ago off camera, and there were a lot more people on the pier compared to when I went there in this video.
I enjoyed walking around Whitehall and Montague as they both have cool things to see. I definitely enjoy a lot of the historical buildings and places. I enjoyed visiting New England also due to the great history over there. Thanks for watching!

Thank you very much for the comment! I had no idea about the pronunciation of schooner. I will definitely remember that for next time!

My family used to have a sailboat at crosswinds
From aunts and great aunts saying 1950's Montague Mi. had the most beautiful women in the world!
There’s a miss Michigan from there
Usually the Montague pier is way more busy

I grew up in Pentwater MI!
This looks like a pretty cool historic town. I personally love historic towns, buildings hotels etc. Are you a fan of historically places/buildings?

Hmm maybe I'll have to add New England to my bucket list. I mostly have explored historical towns in Arizona, Colorado and Utah.
