Congressional GOP leaders call for end to pro-Palestinian protests at George Washington University

Recent protests at college campuses across the country over the war in the Gaza Strip haven't gone unnoticed in the nation's capital, where Congressional Republicans have recently called for an end to protests in D.C.
At George Washington University, protestors have set up an encampment in the University Yard that school officials said was in an unauthorized area. D.C. Police have been patrolling the area nearby, but haven't tried to remove the encampment citing an overall peaceful protest save for some tense moments over the weekend, according to the Washington Post.
