  • In this video we're checking out Elton John once again. It's always nice to be able to get a legend on your reaction channel. We're going through his old albums and finding stuff we don't know. Such fun. Enjoy!

The live version of this from 1970 is really good, he performed it on the BBC in concert.

Great song and message. I put Elton’s early 70’s albums up against any other solo artists of any time period.

    "Let Us Live in Peace"
This was on his first Greatest Hits album.

Hey guys, you’re right, it was a single released before Your Song and broke the top 100 at #69. Then in the same year Aretha Franklin covered it and took it #37.
If you’re interested and you haven’t heard it before you might like to react to Ticking from the 1974 album Caribou. Just Elton and the piano except for a little bit of synth at the end.

Guys, you have to listen to this whole album, it’s great start to finish. Then I d suggest Tumbleweed Connection and Madman across the water albums. Elton at his best

I don't know how popular it would have been but I would have loved if Elton had done a concert without any of his hit singles, just deep album cuts.

Well, it might be good news to know that Elton has said that once he’s stopped touring he might do a short residency from time to time where he can play the deep cuts and forget about Crocodile Rock. Those residencies could be in the UK or the US or both so …

Elton is amazing live. I saw him a few years back and was pleasantly surprised just how great is his.
