This won't change the fact that G2 is the most exciting LEC team. The gameplay is on a high level, very innovative drafts and everyone in the roster deserves the spot and stepped up during the past. The competition from Chinese and Korea is stacked and i hope you won't give in to haters. Even without the title, the journey is one that makes G2 immortal.
I am still sad that G2 got eliminated but man you did go out with a bang. That Game 2 was some of the best league of legends I have seen in years. BB on Yasuo was clean. Yike with the ult over the wall on Skarner. Caps playing out of his mind on Sylas. Hans sniping on Ezreal and Miky with his usual psycho plays on Rakan. And the game 3 draft has shown the creativity I love about G2. You had me jumping out of my chair more than I can count. Love the org and the team. You have shown that you can beat the best. Next year we go all the way!
I think what saddens me the most is probably the fact that these 5 players are likely not to play together again... I loved that team, lobed their synergy, how they approached the game... I started following g2 as a Caps fan, and these last 2 years I've been a g2 fan because of the whole team. I loved seing you guys play together, and wish you strength to overcome the defeat ❤❤

Im proud to own a g2 jersey guys. You got the absolute hardest draw and gave it your all. You faced the best teams in the world and took it to them, almost winning. In a fairer format g2 could have gone far, everyone knows you deserve the top 8. Just unlucky you're still the best western team by far and the only ones who can really challenge the lpl and lck. It sucks but i don't think any fan can be mad about this worlds.

Massive respect for the fight G2 put up despite all the odds stacked against them in this rng shit show of a Swiss stage. It was definitely winnable in many situations throughout the last two weeks, but ultimately we fell short and it sucks. But I implore G2 to keep the line up together. My favorite teams are always the content teams that keep rosters together through thick and through thin, (2016-17 TSM, ZOFGK T1, 2019 AND this iteration of G2) and it would just be devastating to see these lads broken apart after getting so close, knowing they CAN. From a big G2 fan who was hoping to watch them live in the finals this year, I will be eagerly anticipating the Boys' return next year, because 3rd Time's the Charm!

Brokenblade has shown himself as a very critical player for future worlds runs. I love all the players and I hope that if you have to rebuild you keep on brokenblade. He has looked like a very strong piece for any team going to worlds from Europe. I'm such a fan.

The swiss stage matchups already felt like ones would occur later in the tournament. I loved the games, some banger drafts. Really looking forward to see G2 playing in the future.

This Team is the most fun to watch on stage with how much joy they are having playing and training together. G2 is just the peak for me,gameplay and human wise, coming together playing, even tho they didnt win it all, i enojoyed following them. I just hope they can stay together for some more time to train, have fun and play their hearts out, so they can maybe in the end win it all. G2 Fans are so proud right now, even tho we didnt make it, you gave a great show, so keep it up boys and dont be too hard on yourselves❤

From Australia, I've always followed the LPL and LCK, but mad respect for G2. You've always been one of my favourite teams! Such great individual players and always innovating. I think you had some very difficult and unlucky games, and deserved a spot in the top 8. I genuinely believe you had the potential to win it all, they were some close losses!

You guys improved from last year again, caps is insane as always, miky seems more consistent, yike is improving and bb is speaking pure mandarin with his renekton and learnt a lot more chinese from this tournament. The bracket we got was really hard but games went toe to toe. I wish the roster stayed the same, because the improvement from the last year is enormous. Teamwork our beloved team achieved is not something that can be easily replaced, and after all we have the best players in Europe, so I hope we have another chance to see them in action in the next year. Fan of G2 for years, even more after Caps joined, for me one of the all time GOAT's, every team is scared to face you due to your unpredictibility with so many random drafts that you can pull off, i believe this year was what you lacked as a team, sticked to much to the "Meta", insisted on comps that weren't working, i hope next year with squad rebuild or not, stay true to G2 identity and go off-meta picks, the LPL and LCK teams always struggle with those! Give Caps his best champs and he can carry! LET'S GO G2!! NEXT YEAR IS OURS!

I don’t usually watch every game of worlds but after seeing T1 vs G2, I got hooked in watching your games since you guys actually put up a great fight and actually has a chance to win every time- despite what other people say regarding LEC teams. There are noticeable mistakes yes, but I hope this will only urge the team to keep those in mind to avoid it in future games. Still, going against like the powerhouse teams from LCK and LPL and still having a close game shows how this team can further improve and win.
This roster made me dream this year, once again et even more than last year ! For sure, even if you're not in quarters, that was a very good try. G2 isn't easy to defeat for everyone ! I mean it was very heartbreaking seeing how close u were to greatness in the last game and still not making it, especially the sitiuation with the Kalista speers was very nerve-wrecking. But in the end the better team wins and u still put on a great fight against the chinese first seed, showing of some of the most creative drafts and plays to make them sweat. Sure, but that would be the case if they beat T1 or probably if they beat HLE. They lost 3 games to the eastern teams, this was not a year where they belonged in the finals.
@@bananmannen1544i think they do belong in quarters but not further probably. flyquest went to quarters by only beating wildcard teams and na. g2 is a lot better than flyquest 100%. but regardless if youre there to win it all it doenst matter at what stage you lose to the top teams. if g2 beats blg today, theres a high chance that they could end up winning the whole thing.

We saw it in game 2, it seemed like "f everything, we just go savage" and goddamn, they absolutely demolished BLG. Noc and Ori gave them not enough agency, in game 2 they had that. Game 3 they also had that, but they played it too fast and nervous. If they actually keep that style like game 2 and 3 the series against T1 would look different. Nocturne Orianna isn't G2. Maybe they still lose, but at least it's more interesting. Game 2 against BLG was actually peak G2 - and they stomped BLG extremely hard. One problem of G2 is knowing their drafts and what they want, the other problems is actually nerves. If they solve these 2 problems - they can belong in the finals. Unfortunately they are gonna change rosters because of the result (likely) and I don't know what the hell this should be to be an upgrade.

You guys got some of the toughest teams in the tournament on a per game basis and gave them a good run. Even against BLG, the margins were thin. I would understand if the players feel heartbroken, but as a fan, I’m still very proud of your efforts!

G2 has been my favourite western team, and you guys did incredibly well. Even if you didn't get the result you wanted, you made me believe you could go far in the tournament and put up a hell of a fight against the best teams in the world. This Team is the most fun to watch on stage with how much joy they are having playing and training together. G2 is just the peak for me,gameplay and human wise, coming together playing, even tho they didnt win it all, i enojoyed following them. I just hope they can stay together for some more time to train, have fun and play their hearts out, so they can maybe in the end win it all. G2 Fans are so proud right now, even tho we didnt make it, you gave a great show, so keep it up boys and dont be too hard on yourselves❤

It sucks. But G2 was the only team that had a chance. All more frustrating that the games were close. It was winnable. But that last piece was always missing this time. We are proud G2. Come back stronger! G2 fighting!

From Australia, I've always followed the LPL and LCK, but mad respect for G2. You've always been one of my favourite teams! Such great individual players and always innovating. I think you had some very difficult and unlucky games, and deserved a spot in the top 8. I genuinely believe you had the potential to win it all, they were some close losses!

You guys improved from last year again, caps is insane as always, miky seems more consistent, yike is improving and bb is speaking pure mandarin with his renekton and learnt a lot more chinese from this tournament. As someone who doesnt only look the results but actually watched the games, I genuinely believe that next year LEC is going to be a slaughterfest by you guys and that you guys will do great things. It was a great journey g2! Thanks for you effort. I loved watching every single game of yours. Even tho outcome might not be the best, you are one of the strongest teams in the world. The bracket we got was really hard but games went toe to toe. I wish the roster stayed the same, because the improvement from the last year is enormous. Teamwork our beloved team achieved is not something that can be easily replaced, and after all we have the best players in Europe, so I hope we have another chance to see them in action in the next year. Fan of G2 for years, even more after Caps joined, for me one of the all time GOAT's, every team is scared to face you due to your unpredictibility with so many random drafts that you can pull off, i believe this year was what you lacked as a team, sticked to much to the "Meta", insisted on comps that weren't working, i hope next year with squad rebuild or not, stay true to G2 identity and go off-meta picks, the LPL and LCK teams always struggle with those! Give Caps his best champs and he can carry!

I don’t usually watch every game of worlds but after seeing T1 vs G2, I got hooked in watching your games since you guys actually put up a great fight and actually has a chance to win every time- despite what other people say regarding LEC teams. There are noticeable mistakes yes, but I hope this will only urge the team to keep those in mind to avoid it in future games. Still, going against like the powerhouse teams from LCK and LPL and still having a close game shows how this team can further improve and win.

I mean it was very heartbreaking seeing how close u were to greatness in the last game and still not making it, especially the sitiuation with the Kalista speers was very nerve-wrecking. But in the end the better team wins and u still put on a great fight against the chinese first seed, showing of some of the most creative drafts and plays to make them sweat.

Sure, but that would be the case if they beat T1 or probably if they beat HLE. They lost 3 games to the eastern teams, this was not a year where they belonged in the finals.
@@bananmannen1544i think they do belong in quarters but not further probably. flyquest went to quarters by only beating wildcard teams and na. g2 is a lot better than flyquest 100%. but regardless if youre there to win it all it doenst matter at what stage you lose to the top teams. if g2 beats blg today, theres a high chance that they could end up winning the whole thing.

Yeah sure - but we saw the problem exactly in this series. G2 needs to know what they want. We saw it in game 2, it seemed like "f everything, we just go savage" and goddamn, they absolutely demolished BLG. Noc and Ori gave them not enough agency, in game 2 they had that. Game 3 they also had that, but they played it too fast and nervous.
If they actually keep that style like game 2 and 3 the series against T1 would look different. Nocturne Orianna isn't G2. Maybe they still lose, but at least it's more interesting.
Game 2 against BLG was actually peak G2 - and they stomped BLG extremely hard. One problem of G2 is knowing their drafts and what they want, the other problems is actually nerves. If they solve these 2 problems - they can belong in the finals. Unfortunately they are gonna change rosters because of the result (likely) and I don't know what the hell this should be to be an upgrade.

Personally feel like a Yike with more experience is all G2 needs. And maybe Caliste, idk enough about him to know how good he is, but people are damn sure hyping him as the next caps adc. Otherwise I'd keep Hans too.

That's a lot of "if"'s. If they beat T1, if they beat HLE, if they beat BLG. They didn't. A top contender should at least not end up 1-3 into eastern teams, regardless of how close it was. Your "high chance" is a bit cope.

You guys got some of the toughest teams in the tournament on a per game basis and gave them a good run. Even against BLG, the margins were thin. I would understand if the players feel heartbroken, but as a fan, I’m still very proud of your efforts!
As an eastern fan, I hope you guys still find motivation and comeback stronger in the future. After all, the West being competitive is the best for LOL the game as a whole
