"...lacks a broader repertoire." It's still sweet string music. I think the base, FWD, 1.5T model is the best. It's the lightest, most free-rolling, softest ride, and who needs all the other features? It handles way better than the Rav 4. But longevity on the 1.5T is questionable. Oil dilution may still be an issue in certain situations. It really should get higher octane fuel, because of the nature of the high pressure direct inject turbo engine. Bbut that's expensive. I switched to a 2025 Camry - a stunning vehicle for the price, a plush ride, and reliable. Instant torque at any speed, 51mpg average.
No Brainer! Over the life of the vehicle -- $2,250 for Remote Start, especially the blind spot protection and better wheels? You might keep this Honda 10 years or more! Upgrade the trim. You will regret the decision to scimp. Another great video - packed with useful information.
Agree with some here for sure but herein lies the problem. For another 2 or 3 K, can go up from that. And so on. Depends on what person wants and money spent. I just "kept" my 2004 fully loaded (lol) Honda Pilot for 20 years and 8 months. The fully loaded then is funny now some. Just bought a CRV LX last week. I'd have paid 3 K more for the same thing with leather seats and a CD player lol. But not for the things gotten for that here. But that's just me. All the Honda's are good.
Longterm reliability is a big question mark with the 1.5T. I got a base model 2025 Camry Hybrid with a few packages added on. It's a home run. Not sure I'd want to go back to a regular CVT transmission now after experiencing the E-CVT.
To me, if you made the seats leather in LX, it would be everything here IMO. That would be more dollars and doesnt exist as an option but I see LX as pretty good as it sits. Dont want moon roof personally but understand the good part here. Used to be called sun roofs btw. Not a fan of this personally because of several houses with beautiful skylights, and they were, but didnt like them when they leaked. And dont want/need a little bigger display screen. Shouldn't be looking at that a lot while actually driving to me. Has enough USB connectors and internet features IMO. Think the LX is real good for price compared to other makes. But could get more for a couple grand more. But could get more than that for a couple grand more than that.
