I’m not a Phish expert on the level of a true Phish head, but I’ve heard and seen my fair share and this is one of the best Trey Anastasio solos I’ve ever heard. Have listened to it many many times.

was there all four nights, this heavy things was so awesome, every song and jam played over all four nights even today sounded so deliberate, i mean come on people can hate in heavy things til they hear this version and i promise they will end up listening to it as many times as i have…. one last note, the ghost from miami is an absolute face melter (your doing good, you’re doing real good, im going to put the he-ad-ph-on-es on now) as well as the tweezer…. i remember they had gotten a new light rig for this run, and remebering back on how locked in kuroda and the band were, super cool, I tossed like 6 big beach balls down from our like 300 level spot, and the one i wrote all over made it’s way on stage and ended up in front of trey’s amp during the first set of night 3, and at the beginning of chalkdust he was really getting into it and turned and kicked it into the crowd pretty cool memory i haven’t thought of in a long time
and ENERGY I fucking loved 09-10 right next to 98-99 for me. Hard to believe they've been playing over 10 years since reunion. I love em but they are gettin old. which is naturally gonna happen of course

nobody who was at cypress hates Heavy Things... but this was sure a good one. They should play florida more often
