  • I replaced the upper wishbones and the anti-rollbar links on my Alfa romeo 147 and I documented the whole process.

    The bare feet - that's your problem and doesn't take away from the clarity and precision (thx for torque figures!) of your vid. So, very useful thank you. One issue - I hadn't watched the vid all the way through before following the procedure stage by stage - so I hadn't measured the wheel height before disassembling....(inserting a warning page at that point would be useful!) Well done.

    Which is the 108nm bolt. Please give a time (min sec) on the video to show. And can you do a video on this measuring required please

    I'm not an avid fan of 'Elf an' safety' but maybe wearing a pair of shoes whilst undertaking this sort of job would be in order.......

    no final tu realças algo importante ,mas como nao entendo muito bem ingles , mas deu pra ter uma ideia , eu acho que te referes ao tubo do amortecedor , ou seja caso nos o desapertarmos a fim de ajudar na mudança da peça , ter em conta de o meter no mesmo lugar , ou seja , ate se pode fazer uma marca ? ou sera por causa da mola, de esta estar na mesma posiçao sem rodar pra ambos os lados ,.. eu ja mudei uma vez os triangulos de cima , ja tem 4 anos , mas vou mudar de novo, parece que ja faz um pouco de barulho, e ja mudei os de baixo, tirantes etç,.. e se calhar no proximo domingo vou tentar de novo,mas gostei do video, sempre ajuda , a unica coisa de ferramenta q no tenho e o saca rotulas , mas por norma ela costuma sair bem,, irei tentar , pois poupava uns 100 euros de trocar isso e meter discos e pastilhas a tras, as peças eu ja as tenho, mandei vir do autodoc..! obrigado e continua fazendo videos destes !!

    Useful video, thanks for posting. Pity you ruined your torque wrench by using it as a ratchet! It'll need to be calibrated before you can trust it.....

    open a hole in a mud guard for screw of wishbone comes up more fast hehehe

    Get a cheap impact gun (life saving tool! )
    And put some shoes damn it :D

      I just miss an electric ratchet (Milwaukee).
      In my future house, i'll put a proper lifting bridge for good measure ;).

      dave marchant I have 2 GTV, 1 spider, and 156 selespeed, a 147 & a GT backline, I love alfas, but by heck do I spend most of my waking hours fixing the bloody things! 😀
