I lost my husband barely 6 months ago. This song reminds me of my Robin. Sometimes I smile, sometimes I cry. I will never find anyone like him again. He will always be my heart and soul. IMHO If you knew what I go through every single day to just function not including all the things I survived just to respond to you, well let me say that I know how difficult living can be. I play guitar for solace, and both of these women prop me up (as do many other singers) when needed. Only you can find your way, although there are many ways to get support. That's how I still make it when life ts difficult. I know you can find the goodness during the bad parts of life. But I'm just a realist.
I'm smiling even though I know how special those three hours mean to you. Don't forget the good even if there doesn't seem to be any reason for the amount of one to the other.
I see someone else is home watching NCIS on a Saturday morning. I feel the same way about the song, the lyrics and vocals are beautiful, and the guitar part is awesome. Nice stripped down, With an alternate tuning that gives it a haunting sound. It has a beautiful tone. I love Gibsons and Martin’s, and would have figured this is a vintage Gibson but I checked it out and she plays newer Gibsons. I’m sure she has it set up well. Beautiful job!
