    You can use a teflon pillow under the hat for the other press and you won't crease it. Works perfectly. 360iq I'll get at some point, but my cheap press does the job for now.

    Dude! You had me rolling, I absolutely had to thumbs up you, that was some great comedy and it was unrehearsed as far as I could tell!!! And I really like this Stahl's hat press, thanks to you, I just might order me one, I'm absolutely sure I could pay for it within a month, everyone in Arizona wears a Cap! Thanks for a great video and loved your comedy! The part where you tried to heat up the leather patch, I'm like no,no,no, your forgetting the foam pad! And just like that! LoL I thought there would be more damage but not bad! Thanks again, keep up the content!

    Yep, I received my 360 Hat Press in Nov., order several of their textured & 3D hat logos. The press works PERFECTLY... I haven't damaged 1 hat. The dimensional hat patches are crazy beautiful & could easily take a hat from $20 up to $35 with the logos without a fuss... Expensive, but mines paid for itself within the month...

    Great video! You have a great way of displaying your resilience! I purchased my hat iq360 press. I ran into the same issue on opening the press. Did you figure out how to open it manually?

    I noticed you didn’t seat the hat all the way forward like the Stahls demo do, flipping the liner out etc. I followed their directions and ended up getting a small crease at the top. Is that why you didn’t seat it all the way forward (towards you). What vH a Stahls video for clarification if need be. Thanks

    The leather I bought has actual sticky adhesive so I can put it exactly where I want. Is there are benefit to what you are using? Also, do you have problems with your hats sliding after you "lock" them into place?

    Are those Richardson 112 hats? I was curious if this press will accept those since the crown is a bit lower and really arches back as opposed to high crown 5 panels with a flatter front.

    I'm having trouble with the machine. It won't heat the bottom and bottom left corner of the patches and the adhesive isn't being melted into the hat.

    FYI, Stahls gets their Fox style and leather through another manufactures, who outsources much of their product. My leathe came from Mexico, first batch was misaligned, had to get them to reorder it, second batch was flawless. Note I provided an svg file and still had to pay Setup. It was obvious tge operator just loaded the svg as the lines were very thick, not like the art. So my second submission was png. They then had to build the file to match my art, so the lines were no longer fat. Short version, since you pay set up anyway, mat as well make them set it up to get the results you want. Shorter version, upload png lol.

    what top and bottom heat settings, time and pressure have worked the best for your leather vs embroidered patches?

    question, does having the lower platen heat up as well as the top make a difference when applying leather patches? that's what I mostly plan to do and trying decide if the $1,700 is worth spending ot just go with the Wala auto open hat press for $450. since the shape of the bottom platen is the same on both so there should be no creases with either one

      For the leather patches I don't think it makes a difference.

    How well does it heat the bottom side of the patch that's closest to the brim?

    • @ttms
      @ttms  3 роки тому

      I haven't had any adhesion problems.

    • @Captainhairyass
      @Captainhairyass 3 роки тому

      @@ttms sometimes on the six panels they create a gap between the hat and the patch and it makes it difficult to get Contact but with the heat on the bottom side it may make it easier to get that area to adhere. It's just an expensive test lol
