That detailing sounds fantastic (main idea)!!! And how abt the thesis statement (what, where ,How to find it) difference btw "thesis sentence" & "main idea/topic of sentence "??
That's a good idea for a reading video! I discuss thesis statements in the "writing process" series. Check it out. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.
@@SnapLanguageLearner sure I'll do watch the ur recommend video . I have one doubt regarding reading techniques called skimming and previewing that I hve come across on website (snap language)can I shoot
Thank you so much dear Teacher Marc, I have been learning the Cambridge Advanced English C1 - level in Germany. In July 2020 I failed the exam and intend to do it again. I hope that I can pass the exam in December 2020 with your valuable knowledge, esp. how to find the main ideas. Could you also teach me/ us how to understand the questions related to the main ideas/ attitudes / opinions because in the C1- exam it is necessary, in my opinion, also to understand the questions properly? Thank you.
Hi, An. I'm so sorry I missed your messages from a long time ago. UA-cam needs to improve their "comments section!" :( Have you found the other channel (Snap Language)? It has a whole reading series for more advanced students. It's organized in playlists: Vocabulary and reading: ua-cam.com/play/PLS9dE7WMFmJjhlBnZZkd0EuC5Wv3zYUJs.html Understanding the paragraph: ua-cam.com/play/PLS9dE7WMFmJgeCVVM8RR09gRYS9zgXkVg.html Main ideas/details: ua-cam.com/play/PLS9dE7WMFmJgeCVVM8RR09gRYS9zgXkVg.html Interpreting what your read: ua-cam.com/play/PLS9dE7WMFmJgPenynBNKRS-_RDBK1CIyv.html Critical reading: ua-cam.com/play/PLS9dE7WMFmJhf0iVdOF5YQG0V9wlX9bhD.html Thank you for using Snap Language and Snap Language Learner! :D
Thanks for the comment and suggestion. I try to include different types of paragraphs in the examples, so I should definitely make sure I include descriptive paragraphs in future examples! :D
