I hope your preps don't get fully tested this year but it is inevitable you will get a large hurricano at some point. You are by far the best prepared prepper online
@marygallagher3428 Tropical storm or hurricane cat 1 doesn't bother me, it's when it becomes a cat 3 and up that action mode begins, I only took down the big wind turbine and sail shade just incase.
@@MosaicHomestead 👍...Kinda similar to the 1st one you built over the big house to store those panels....It seems to be a recurring theme in the tropics where poorly secured or exposed panels get blown off or become flying hazardous debris during Hurricanes....Smart move investing time to build the storage compartments in advance of the potential Hurricanes saving you time and money later.
everything in its place is great. Like the remote holder...at my house the remotes would never make it to the holder :) . Everything looks great Luis. I don't wish a hurricane on anyone but if you end up in the bunker i would love to see a video of how everything works out. Nice job~
@OldSchoolPrepper it's for the solar panels, my plan is to place solar panels in bunker to survive a catastrophic hurricane, the panels never leave the roof.
Update::: 🌀🌀ERNEST👀👀O looks like it forming in the East...but I got my eye 👀👀on the next tropical depression off Cape Verde which looks pretty big....it's still got a ways to travel,
@felixdacat6572 I already took down the sail shade, and lowered the wind turbine, I'm on it, but thanks for the update, weather channels are better out there.
Hi Luis. Just checking in on u. I see half of PR is without power... I'm not sure where you are on the island but I know you are safe and have self generated power...all good?
@OldSchoolPrepper I'm in the east lol, this thing was a cat 1, Fiona did nothing compared to this, it did decent damage in my area, it dropped a large tree on power lines, the lines are severd, it's going to be at least a week before all repairs are done and power restored.
@@HuplesCat lol..🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣...I bear witness that you were first...because I was second and got the Silver🥈🥈🥈🥈🥈....that YT algorithm doesn't like anybody ...lol...and Luis is a meat eater...he only likes animals and things he can eat.

@HuplesCat now that my priorities list is covered, I ordered a 12v mini Ice maker for the shed.
@@MosaicHomestead Great idea. Try to get a bigger one. Selling ice would be very well rewarded if you lose power for six months again
@HuplesCat It's just for my personal use, a cold drink after a hurricane is much appreciated .
@@MosaicHomestead Have a look though. Bartering ice after 4 months of no power would be very lucrative
@@HuplesCat good idea. Ice will be needed for sure.
Great job Luis! I hope the coming tropical storm doesn't do any damage at your place and that you and your family stay safe!

@@HLRJaysteeMoore416 I finished this yesterday, and now a tropical storm is headed my way 😆
Yup...you got a tropical depression forming off Cape Verde that might develop...Nice work on the roof storage area over the shed.👍💪
@felixdacat6572 it's to save the solar panels if something catastrophic heads my way... yeah, it could become a hurricane before it gets here.

@felixdacat6572 this is the same one, I just upgraded the shutters for faster use, next year I got to do the roof treatment.

Arroz con gandules is a prepper food.
@LibertyGarden it's Puertorican Xmas food, with a pastel on the side lol...Having a Puertorican chef during a SHTF for rice dishes will be a plus 😆
