I bow down to the queen of bargain shopping! $20 a metre fabric for just $1.60 a metre - amazing!
Awesome haul. I’m a fabric collector too. It’s another craft 😂
Definitely some great choices for clothing. I’ve done the same with different fabrics to try that I normally wouldn’t at the regular price. Great for wearable toiles too.
Have you thought about packaging the Aussie animals fabrics together as a gift set for tourists? I think I remember you saying one of the markets you do is in a touristy area.
Gift sets like you did for Christmas.
Oh wow! This made me check my calendar if I've got the day wrong. But, yeah... it's a Tuesday video. What a pleasant surprise! ❤❤❤
Same I double checked too lol!
That was a huge haul! Next time I'm back in Australia I'm going to have to hit the fabric stores..I always pass them up because I have so much at home already, but really..how much is too much? LOL
I feel like your next video should be you setting up a THIRD room just for your materials 🤣😂 you are doing so amazing!
Can’t wait to see what you create with all that gorgeous fabric 😊
You are all so lucky in Australia and the USA! Whenever there is a sale here in the UK we can never use a coupon on top of this. It always says that it can not be used in conjunction with other discounts 🙁
Amazing bargain hunting 💜 bit jealous 🤣 love fabric shopping!
That sherbert reminds me of the napkins pattern my mom sewn when I was a child. We called the napkin SERBET. Probably the word came from this sherbert🤭
Loved the blue daisies ❤
Happy sewing on your new adventure. Get a gathering foot. You should visit the shop where you bought your machine and see all the other specialized feet that are available for your industrial machine. Practice with easy projects like pillow covers and add ruffles to that. You can also make squares that show different sewing techniques and keep them in a folder or on a display board. One could be showing a ruffle, stitch in the ditch, binding, a basic external pocket, etc. If you plan to try shirring fabric, get another bobbin case for the elastic thread because the tension will need to be reduced for the elastic thread.
Thanks so much fabulous advice 😄💓
I love watching your videos, the Mustard florals ones are my favourite xx
Awesome fabric haul- Love seeing your choices, which are both gorgeous and practical. Smart business decisions! Keep going.
How I wish I could have a fabric just like yours. The City I lived in doesn't have that kind of fabric. They were all beautiful 😍 I'm always rooting in your success. Your one of my motivation in scrunchie business
Hi taylah, woahhh 100 plus meters is so many... I wonder how you keep all of them. But i admit its so colourfully pretty fabrics that you purchased. 😍😍
I love them all even the kids ones. ❤❤
Those animal prints. Reminded me someone posted in one of the craft groups there is a cockatiel fabric at spot light. I must drool over from a far. Since i am American. I have a small cockatiel collection because i had one for about 30 years. It would have been such a nice addition. Pet it for me if you see it. As weird as that sounds. Lol
There is a beautiful Jocelyn Proust cockatiel fabric at Spotlight ( I bought it in Sand).
wow how exciting ❤👏💖
Hi Taylor watched from the uk at 8pm
Be careful! Your craft room is going to look like mine! I lost my dog in there...: ") Beautiful fabrics though!!!!
Is this the primary room or second room? I had a moment like that but with yarn. Two grocery carts full! Amazing how shoppers panic and hit the yarn and fabric haul here in Michigan when they witness these massive amounts of product.
Way to go!
Thanks Barb! This is the primary (original) room 😝💓
Great bargain on your fabric haul and yes I can definitely tell you're a hoarder of fabric but then when we love doing something, we want all the things and why not when it's on special. I hoard leather and beads because you just never know if a certain project comes up where you just need that particular colour or texture or thickness. I love the kits for making your own because I would like to try a few hand-sewn🐇🐇🐰 ones but no way do I need to go near a sewing machine because they hate me, I break needles and thread and I think my sewing machine in the shed had a mass of twirled thread from so many years ago hopefully some rodents carried it off 🐇
Hi Taylah I don't know why but when I saw the thumbnail of the video I thought that you were introducing a new product but it is a receipt. However I think you should make and
sell the product I was thinking about. Have you seen those videos of people making hair curls with their robe belts and a hair clip? Well it is basically the fabric tube you make for the scrunchies but with some filler and a clip that you already have, so you can make them with silk fabric and a matching hair clip and sell the combo for making heatless curls
Funny you say that Noelia! I have trialed those in December and I’m hoping to get my first batch made in the next few weeks for an April product launch 😄😄💓
Gostei muito de sua nova remessa de tecidos. Fez boa escolha!
Que Deus continue abençoando vc, seu trabalho e sua família.
Abraço desde 🇧🇷
Do you use cotton fabric or woven fabrics ? Im pertaining to the floral fabrics 😊
I love, love your volgs. I try to watch them all. Please tell us also Yards when you talk about meters. USA Fan (we don't easily convert meters to yards)lol
Yards are 3” shorter than meters if that helps x
I know yards better, but I know a meter is bigger... so, my guess is 300 meters??? Love seeing a new video! ❤️
Lol, I was off...
What spotlight do you go to. You always get such nice fabric. I can never find beautiful fabric like that.
Sale, Traralgon and Bairnsdale😄
Dammm our spotlight never has fabric that cheap
My fav is the one that was polka dot. Great finds! Do you use silk for scrunchies? If not, why? Thanks much!
Thank you! Proper Silk is very expensive so I haven’t made any yet. I do plan to release a limited range of petite silk scrunchies soon tho ☺️ I purchased 3 colours
@@TaylahRose Great! I bet pink is one of the colors! Thanks for your response.
On time again
410 metres
Много так тканей. Ии так красиво аккуратно сложено всё. Молодец! И ткани все красивые. Супер.
Do you have a shop or something 🤔
I was about to do my 1st Market but I think my close seam isn't good enough to sell at markets so I backed out 😔. Everything is is perfect. I can hide it when I make them with your OG method but no hidding burrito method (crooked). I think it's the machine. I got a $80 machine at Walmart which is cool for gifts or family but I think an upgrade is needed for Scrunchies I'm selling
You can do it! I’m sure it looks fine, sometimes we are our own harshest critic. Maybe try using the same colour thread it may make the seam less noticeable or a smaller stitch ☺️
@@TaylahRose Thanks! I'll try that.
300
Which website you bought fabric.
Please can you send me answers. Thanks
I buy In store at spotlight these deals aren’t available online or at most stores
Does Spotlight ship to the States?
I don’t think so :(
@@TaylahRose darn that’s a bummer
Hey I m making scrunchies but don't know how to sell in large capacity...can u buy it to me??
Don’t start sewing dresses with checkered, plaid or striped fabrics. Use that stuff up in scrunchies. Really hard to match checks, plaids and stripes in a clothing pattern.
I'm going to guess 200 meters
240 metres?
Given that the price of fabric will just go up and up, it makes sense to buy it now. That's my excuse anyway.
Do you bounce on your feet when you talk sometimes? It looks like the camera is slightly shaking?
Sometimes I shake i don’t know why maybe nerves ahah
@@TaylahRose It might be a 'stim' lots of ADHD/ASD/neurodivergent people stim. Not sure if you're either. Neurotypicals do it too (to a lesser degree?)
How come you’re posting 2022 videos?
I’m 2 months behind in vlogs
With all the discounts, I’m guessing around 450 metres but it looks like way more
I would hate to be in the line behind you at spotlight.
🤣🤣 luckily its a small country store, I’m in there for an hour usually at the counter and generally only 1 or 2 people get served on the other til while I’m there 😆
