    Just doesn’t seem to have the oomphf needed to actually do anything on the wave unless your 4ft and 30kg. feels like wave pool tech is a long way off being able to produce a wave with any substance that won’t also break the bank. Looks like a fun muck around maybe if you got a group of lads together and hired the place out

      Peopel tell me it feels and behaves a lot bigger than it looks. Hoping to get some hands-on time soon. But if you regularly surf on the Eastern seaboard, these kind of waves are definitely on the small side.

    looks kinda fun! can they double the size? that short lil section that draws and almost slabs would be awesome if it was double or triple that size. (not saying it wouldnt slam ppl now tho)

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  8 місяців тому +2

      Pretty sure that's as big as it gets. Would kill to see it bigger.

    I love that it’s small. Most surf pools are way too big. This one is perfect for women and kids! Yes! Finally!

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  8 місяців тому +1

      Well these are the biggest waves they do, so there are a few settings a fair bit smaller. And the inside bay area is excellent for kids.

      It feels a lot bigger than it looks once you're outh there. Surfed the advanced session today and that inside section jacks up more than you think

      @@SCBodyboarder83 Good to hear. I'm hitting advanced shortly, too. You get slammed at all?

      @@motivatedtravel nah not really anymore than I've been slammed on my local breaks. Although first time I was taking pretty easy getting to know the wave. Next time I'll definitely be hitting that inside section harder.

      What wave pool have you been to thats too big? This is 2ft waves, any smaller and it would be longboard only

    I am coming soon. Just for beaches and accommodations. We will C. I am going to someplace off the traveled path on a dirt road near ocean.

    Only took 3:30 out of 5 min vid to zoom in to something we could actually see. Then dont follow the toob as they pull in. 🙌🤦‍♂️

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  4 місяці тому

      Well that's the problem when you zoom in, it becomes super hard to follow the rider.

  • @paulbaker7675
    @paulbaker7675 8 місяців тому

    Looks like advanced plus at my local wave pool?
    Main problem with this Wave garden technology is the ride is very short to allow for beginners on the inside, therefore double the people, double the money. Good for business but not good surfers. Should have designed the bottom contors to run a wave at least 3/4 of pool length imo.

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  8 місяців тому +1

      I did notice that there was at least half the pool's length left by the time the wave lost the energy to stay worthwhile for most of the guys.

    what are the prices?

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  8 місяців тому +1

      $110 for an hour if you buy one off, but gets a bit cheaper if you buy bulk packs. Not much cheaper though. I think $950 for 10.

      @@motivatedtravel how many people in the water at one time?

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  8 місяців тому +1

      @@mikejames1804 18 on a standard session, or 12 if you get an Expert Session. Wit 18 people, they reckon you should get about 12 waves in an hour.

      Advanced has T3 for Half an hour before B1 setting. Expert starts on B1 then moves to B2 or beast mode depending on wind.

    Video footage doesnt do the size and power of this place justice.

      Well even in real life, it doesn't look like much. Middling Sydney day. But I've heard it feels a lot more once you're on it.
