although Julius is stronger Kirill is more impressive in my opinion, considering body weight and technique used Julius even said it himself.

Check Andrey Saphozinkov he's like the John Haack of Russia in the bench.

What body weight? He was more than 180+ during his prime

@user-sx6ck2zq1y 175 kg, I think what he means by bw is the fact that Julius is 200+ and is shorter than Kirill as well so if Kirill wanted to bulk up all the way to 190 let's say he probably would've been able to top Julius lifts or even get to 800 plus his technique was out of this world but tbf even Julius after he broke his first WR improved his technique immensely I really like the way he executes those paused reps.

@@alexenache6942the fact that you honestly think Kirill wasn’t doing everything humanly possible to set that record as high as possible shows you know nothing about real strength progression over time, (especially at these incredible weights) if Kirill could get as big as Julius he would’ve, stop trying to put limitations and assign artificial numbers on/to people; who cares about technique, each of them are using the absolute most optimal form for themselves. It’s so weird that so many people try to bring nuance into numbers, powerlfiting is a numbers game, strongest wins, simple as that

@athanlifts1463 He wasn't because I watched a lot of interviews in Russian with him and he said how stressful and hard was to be at that bw he already was and how demanding his regime was so that tells me he gave 80 to 85% of his best but who knows maybe he gave 100% like you've said. He basically meant that he cannot and doesn't want to prolong it in the long run just to beat some record in a sport that doesn't have no financial attribute, but some guy on UA-cam thinks I'm just making shit up, I didn't make that comment above based on my perception on what Kirill could've but didn't I made that comment knowingly exactly what he said previously himself to be such an elite athlete like himself required a lot of dedication and struggle for nothing as he said powerlifting doesn't pay, if it did paid properly trust me when I say that he would've had gone all the way in, look at him since he stopped powerlifting professionally, his channel is doing amazing and has other business opportunities and revenue coming in consistently.

I actually think Kirill had 800lb in him if he wanted it. He was insanely lean for a world record bencher. If he'd have gained the body fat % of Juliusz Maddox his leverage would have increased substantially.
