I was in that line in Towson! Many of us never got to see Phillip because the crowd was so large.
My very favorite show! I live in America. I watch an episode every night before going to sleep. ALL of the actors are fabulous!!!
Love that show! Geoffrey was the tops! Judi Dench is priceless. The WHOLE CREW WAS FANTASTIC!
Live in the US. Discovered this show about three years ago on my local PBS station. There are two episodes on every Saturday night. I never leave the house on Saturday night. 😂❤

OK, it's not the sitcom with the most laughs, but certainly one of the most enjoyable ones to watch.

I'm in Australia and I never tire of watching repeats. Sadly Geoffrey Palmer has passed, I agree the proposal is my favourite, so sweet what he said " I fell in love ...."
I live in the US and watch this series completely through probably 4-5 times a year. My kids would watch it every Saturday night with me and they loved it too. I'm glad for reruns! I think my favorite shows were the weddings but I thought the show where Jean decided they should hold a luncheon for the senior citizens was adorable.
We love the show , and watch it over and over, just love it. Thank you.

it's just an awesome show and brilliant actors and acting and so lovely to not hear constant vile language or constant reminders of race etc etc RIP to Geoffrey Palmer and the show also....and of course due to the brilliant creative writing

Loved it to death
Somehow I’ve never caught the last series I seriously hope to catch it sometime soon. There are so many repeats of other things, it would be good to think it might happen.
I think people forget get that under acting something can be better than over acting

What! I’m from Baltimore, how did I never know the actor who played Alistair was in Towson!?!
It happened in the mid/late 90s during an MPT fundraising telethon. He did seem truly baffled by the all the fuss from US fans - don't think he expected it at all.
