Sunday, April 19 at 6 p.m., NMPBS presents New Mexico's Tribal Communities and COVID-19: A Virtual Town Hall - featuring both state and tribal officials. Acoma Pueblo member Conroy Chino moderates.

Unfortunate and devastating.
Speaking from a Healthcare Professional perspective,we need to bridge gaps between Tribes and Navajo nations with Major Local hospitals for resources and education . To improve the veins of communications and promote Native Liason involvement in Hospitals to advocate for our patients and their needs. Data is so important,Paralyzing events like this really need the information to be able to not only do an analysis of how many cases of Covid,but to be able to determine Environmental needs of our communities.. I just wonder Why in America with more resources then any other nation,develop a Healthcare system that delivers much poorer results,at near cost than any other developed countryThe point of data collection is that " Nation building efforts cannot be successful unless adequate attention is paid to the health of the population. The health status of those living in this country has a direct impact on the Nations construction and development, and history teaches us it can be a tool in capturing goodwill of the Nations residents..Special Thanks to Drs,Nurses,,Truck drivers,Military ,volunteers and Grocery store workers .Healing powers to the Nation. Light & Love.

When you native people have family members die and or suffer---------think about all of the animals that you people abuse, neglect, starve, allow to freeze to death, allow to be run down on the roads, and allow to be killed by roaming dogs that have been abandoned and starved. Think about the suffering that you cause to innocent animals! Cruel people
