He is sooo beautiful. He did seem to be drawn to Steve again today at the gate. Bless his little heart, tho, it's all so new and strange for the little baby one.
Poor guy has had a lot to overcome in just one day. I hope he gets along with Appollo and Farouq. Too bad Bella didn't come with him, they could calm each other.

@@Tara101 Yes, I grew up on a family farm. I watched the video of Farouk's castration. Frankly, it's a much gentler process than they used on calves and young pigs when I was growing up. I can understand why men might have a hard time with it, but I never did. I find many surgical procedures interesting. Thanks for double checking! Xoxoxo
What a pleasure to watch him move - just beautiful! Poor baby..new surroundings can be scary at first. It'll be so nice for him & filly, Bella, when they get to commiserate together. Thank you for sharing his journey with us.
Oh Tara! He's so lovely! I don't mean just physically but mentally as well. You can see him thinking and reasoning through the situation. He is a wonderful pick and I can't wait to see you work your magic with him! Rens and Steve are such gentlemen to him too. He's doing so well in such a new and terrifying situation. I'm just amazed at how he handles his fear and uncertainty. I'm so glad he's in your capable hands! I do apologize but I have been calling him sweet little DeeDee in my head.
My heart was in my mouth watching that! So pleased it wasn't as bad as I imagined! He's so gorgeous Tara, his kindness shines through those beautiful eyes. Thank you for the heads up about tomorrow's video by the way 😁💕

Look forward to tomorrow's videos too! I can't wait to see how he starts settling in. So glad you and he are okay after the gate. He sure understands where he came in and where to get out.
Wow Diablo is stunning and such beautiful movement. He’s had such a stressful day for such a young foal. I’m glad he didn’t hurt himself. Also a good job you recently fixed your gate posts. So looking forward to his journey with you. He is one lucky little man. Thanks Tara lots of love Lesley x
Good thing he didn’t break the gate and injure himself, that could have been worse. I was glad to see him relax towards the end. Hopefully Farouk and Apollo will help him too
Oh my goodness, he is just gorgeous! And so very, very brave. That huge paddock, all by himself, no mum or other horses for safety and to guide him but he walked on with you and watched everything. By the end he was seeing the three of you as his security which is as it should be...staying with you...smart little guy. And putting his head down towards the end was another good sign. One lucky chap; you done good, Tara! ❤😄 Did I say how breathtakingly gorgeous he is?
What a gorgeous horse! Beautiful with that lovely Andalusian motion. So many new sights and smells for him to take in. Have Apollo and Farouk clapped their eyes on him as yet? You’re so calm and reassuring with him.
Oh Tara he is a beauty, he looks so intelligent, after a very long day, the time you took with him calming him and then once loose he kept going back to you for reassurance, whatever happens tomorrow I have now watched long enough to know that you will do the best for him, that you are always kind, and so very knowledgable, perhaps you could share with us the reason why horses are castrated, I’m thinking along the lines of giving them a much calmer life without hormones rushing through their system.
yes Karen that's just the reason. I would never use him as a stallion so it is kinder to take away the urge to mate. In the UK not many horses are left entire so other riders get worried when they see a stallion even if it behaves impeccably.
Diablo is a very handsome boy. Considering what he went through with being drugged, taken away from his mother without being weaned, having been loaded for the first time, a three hour ride in a moving box, a whole new place with no familar faces, and some funny neighbors I think he is doing very well.
Very distressing for Diablo and for all concerned I'm sure, new home and new humans, smells, sounds, away from his dam for the first time and everything he has known for his entire life all rolled into one, makes for a trying time, but all in all, he managed to get through it and wow, what beautiful confirmation and a really lovely mover. He's gonna be a good'un Tara and I liked how he kept close to you and your voice and reassurances. Not something you would choose for him to go through, but he did ....He really is magnificent.
Windy, scared of the bulls and new surroundings, missing his mama... poor boy. Diablo has had a rough start.. but he is in good hands with you Tara. A loving home.
Considering his age and all the new experiences I think he did wonderful. You definitely have an eye for horses. He is already gorgeous and will be absolutely stunning in a couple of years. I can’t wait to see how he and your new filly grow. It’s so exciting. Thank you again for taking the time to share your family with the rest of us.
He's absolutely stunning,if I was a horse, having a home from you and Renns would be what any horse would dream about, best of luck with him and Bella, peace and love from Ireland x
Scary cows!!! Glad to hear he didn't hurt himself on the gate. He moves beautifully, his trot is just stunning. I cant wait to watch him grow and you to bring him on under saddle. You do have 3 absolutely stunning boys now 😍
You are an excellent equestrienne. I feel a bit cheeky saying thus but I wish you would wear your hat, strapped on, when dealing with horses, especially the young and confused ones. Diablo looks fantastic. Is he entire?
Well, Rens, Steve and Apollo certainly did a fine job rebuilding that gate! Glad Diablo wasn’t hurt, mighty scared though. He is gorgeous and will be a stunner when he grows up. I am seeing the elegance of Farouk and a dose of Apollo’s heft. And he seems to have a good head on his shoulders considering the traumatizing start to his day. I am so looking forward to watching his development. You did good, Tara and Rens.
He was probably thinking "what the heck are those" when he saw the cattle bless him, the gate incident was a little scary to watch, l,m so happy that he's with you now Tara, you're amazing with your boys and will be with Diablo and Bella too, tfs x Julie
He is fabulous Tara and considering he wasn’t weaned from his mum I think he has done very well thought he would be more manic in the paddock, but he was very brave and his movement is beautiful, exciting times!
I just want to say , we all sometimes dont have time to think and sometimes dont have time to think , or we deal with things differently. It does not make it wrong, that's what makes us individuals we make our own choices . I have noticed a few comments saying instructing that Tara had done things wrong and should of done this or that. Tara is more than capable of knowing what to do , she has apollo and Farouk as proof. Please just cause people dont do things the way you would like , it doesn't make it wrong. Sorry rant over. Tara , his gorgeous and will do just fine I'm sure, just like your other two. Xx
sometimes some people try to help it is not telling anyone what to do. Yes Tara is capable of knowing, keep in mind from her videos, this is her first colt, farouk and apollo were grown or handled. @tara you are doing great :) getting him Castrated as you are planning will calm him down after a while. love your videos
Sweet boy is getting his bearings. I think this went as well as could have been expected. He does have a beautiful little trot! Given what we’ve seen of him before, I bet he’ll be calm and relaxed once he settles in. His color is gorgeous in the sun and I love his white sock! Can’t wait to see more and for him to have some company!
Tara, you really need a much smaller enclosed area, like a round pen. He also needs to be kept on a much shorter lead at first. There's just too much in that large area that will scare him. The wind is blowing like mad and he's in a new environment, so of course he is unsteady. If you have a center corridor in a barn, that would be a good place to start leading him. He'd be away from the road noise. In the US, a 6 foot fence (2 meters) is considered the minimum height for a fence for a horse that needs training.
Hello Tara My heart went out to your new beautiful young horse & I hope the breeders see your vid & realise they have a lot more work to do before letting each beautiful horse leave their premises. Arrival at your place was calm & I know each day will get better for you both - & you will have an instinct re every move he has made or is going to make. I know because I have watched you with your other horses. Everyone has their opinion & tries to be helpful But this is your assigned job & you will be doing it your way. It was good to hear Bella will be getting some training which will help so much re travel. Once again thank you for sharing with us all. He has three kind understanding humans to guide & guard him & soon he will meet new friends but meanwhile every day will get better for you all. Love to you all - the horses & Ike xxxxxxxxx PS at midnight we will be on level 1 but trusting everyone will still be vigilant re staying home if any signs of cold or cough. We are all thankful for this & want it to happen for all countries We have family both North & South in England & so far so good - all well. Thankful the 3 or you are safe in your Bubble too Will check in tomorrow for 1 video Blessings :-)
What a gorgeous boy! Such a difference between his day meeting the bulls and Apollo strutting in to meet the cows. I am looking forward to both videos tomorrow.
He has had a very big day - lots of change and new sounds, sights and smells to process. No wonder the herd of cattle including a bunch of young bulls made him nervous. He has had a pretty protected life with momma by his side, so now he is facing these new things by himself. I think you guys talking to him calmly will continue to be important to him. You will be who he turns to for comfort. He is so handsome - what movement! So glad he isn't injured as a result of his attempt to get the "he!!" out of dodge. He is taking in a lot of new information and it will be a few days before he settles in. I wonder what he will think of his new brothers. I'm sure that will be another interesting event. Thanks for allowing us to witness his arrival home and his first intro to the paddock. He is in good hands.
Hi Tara, Yes, Diablo was a bit anxious in this video but he had just finished a lot of " firsts " in his young life - away from mum, trailer ride, new place and sounds and bulls. All in all I thing he handled it well. He could have been tearing around in a panic frothing at the mouth! He also came back to his humans for security at the end. I think he will settle down nicely and he is a very handsome horse. Won't bother me to watch the surgery; he will lead a much better life due to it. Looking forward to watching his progress.
What a beautiful horse. He did really well with so much going on and already you can see him returning to you for reassurance. I'm hoping I can learn so much from your forthcoming videos. I just have to get over the fact that you called the little buckskin Bella 😅. It was a horse called Bella that, this time last year, unceremoniously dumped me, fracturing my pelvis. Hence the reason I'm not riding any more. At 62, I don't bounce so well. Once I've forgiven you for that I'll be alright 🤣. Stay safe all. Looking forward to tomorrow's episode. Beats Emmerdale hands down. 😘Dx
That's a great movement he's showing , it's a lot for a young horse that's never seen cows before, and of course cows come in many numbers at once at the most god awful times . Well done your calmness will surely be a blessing to him .
He's getting used to his new home poor baby ;sites and sounds ,he was drawn to running man and watched him for a long while👏🤣❤ ! ( noticed in yesterday's video too! He also liked Rens. Calling him good man😄❤
I don’t think it’s wise to have a youngster without a companion in a field. Always had my babies with a nanny pony. Helps them feel safe and secure.

Xoxoxo
He is a beautiful horse, and has a lovely stance. Your ‘new’ paddock has really made such a huge difference in so many ways.
I think so too!
What a pleasure to watch him move - just beautiful! Poor baby..new surroundings can be scary at first. It'll be so nice for him & filly, Bella, when they get to commiserate together. Thank you for sharing his journey with us.
Aww he is beautiful Tara, his movement is amazing, congratulations to you all, he's a stunning boy XXX
I like the sound of DeeDee😊
My heart was in my mouth watching that! So pleased it wasn't as bad as I imagined! He's so gorgeous Tara, his kindness shines through those beautiful eyes. Thank you for the heads up about tomorrow's video by the way 😁💕
👍
Oooohhhhh Tara "Absolutely stunning " !!! Love him 🐴🐴🐴🐴🐶 xx
Good thing you returned him!
Wow! What an absolutely stunning boy. He literally floats! I thought maybe he had never walked on grass before. 😊. Can’t wait to see all the updates....and what he thinks of his two big brothers!! And of course, his new playmate....buckskin filly????? Thanks for sharing! Love watching!!
Look forward to tomorrow's videos too! I can't wait to see how he starts settling in. So glad you and he are okay after the gate. He sure understands where he came in and where to get out.
yes he did know where out was, Steve said the same thing
Seeing where Diablo came from, your home has so much more to stimulate the senses, it’s overwhelming for them. Even the trees are new and frightening.
Wow Diablo is stunning and such beautiful movement. He’s had such a stressful day for such a young foal. I’m glad he didn’t hurt himself. Also a good job you recently fixed your gate posts. So looking forward to his journey with you. He is one lucky little man. Thanks Tara lots of love Lesley x
thanks Lesley🥰
Penny Webb I fully agree☺️
thanks Penny
What a good boy Diablo is how is he doing now in 2023 you and ren have farouk Bella and Apollo great job with all your Outstanding horses 🐎
What a gorgeous horse! Beautiful with that lovely Andalusian motion. So many new sights and smells for him to take in. Have Apollo and Farouk clapped their eyes on him as yet? You’re so calm and reassuring with him.
no they have not met yet.
Aww poor baby, he’ll settle in soon tho! Can’t wait till he meets the other two 🥰
Oh Tara he is a beauty, he looks so intelligent, after a very long day, the time you took with him calming him and then once loose he kept going back to you for reassurance, whatever happens tomorrow I have now watched long enough to know that you will do the best for him, that you are always kind, and so very knowledgable, perhaps you could share with us the reason why horses are castrated, I’m thinking along the lines of giving them a much calmer life without hormones rushing through their system.
yes Karen that's just the reason.
Not something you would choose for him to go through, but he did ....He really is magnificent.
thanks. Good to here NZ has no more Virus 🥰
@@Tara101 Thanks...Its wonderful isn't it, Gods speed for UK xxx and the rest of the world of course
Windy, scared of the bulls and new surroundings, missing his mama... poor boy. Diablo has had a rough start.. but he is in good hands with you Tara. A loving home.
I agree!!!
Yes I agree on both counts too
Thanks for sharing everything with us Tara! The good and the bad!
He's absolutely stunning,if I was a horse, having a home from you and Renns would be what any horse would dream about, best of luck with him and Bella, peace and love from Ireland x
many thanks
He is soooooooo gorgeous tara ,,,,i love him already ,,moves beautifully ,,,and the most beautiful face ,,,im glad hes gone to your home ,,
So handsome! He’s going to be a stunner! You’re doing so well with him can’t wait for more updates! 🥰
He’s stunning. And when he’s older could easily jump that gate.
He’s a beauty Tara! And moves so well, great carriage...
Tara, he is stunningly Beautiful, and ticks ALL the boxes!
I've got a feeling we will be saying the same about Bella too.
🤞
Tara
LOL
This might be an appropriate time to wish you good luck!
Scary cows!!! Glad to hear he didn't hurt himself on the gate. He moves beautifully, his trot is just stunning. I cant wait to watch him grow and you to bring him on under saddle. You do have 3 absolutely stunning boys now 😍
thanks Vicky
You did good, Tara and Rens.
many thanks 😊
He was probably thinking "what the heck are those" when he saw the cattle bless him, the gate incident was a little scary to watch, l,m so happy that he's with you now Tara, you're amazing with your boys and will be with Diablo and Bella too, tfs x Julie
All the bulls came for a little visit. Diablo really seems to take a liking to Steve. Glad he wasn't hurt trying to jump the fence.
Is it just me or can anyone else see how scared this youngster is? He has learnt nothing but how to feel worry around humans !
He is a beauty with lovely movement.
His prance is beautiful! Congrats on your new toddler Tara!
Thank you!! 😊
Mum, those are NOT horses!
This is a lot of horse, are you sure this is what you want, l don't know what you have in mind for him, lm a little worried .
So wrong she knows what she's doing she's been here many times before you can baby a horse like that! His reaction is perfectly normal
many thanks Louise
Thankful the 3 or you are safe in your Bubble too Will check in tomorrow for 1 video Blessings :-)
good to here your going onto level 1 🥰
Poor Diablo, cattle were just too much for him this time, his stablemates will show him the ropes. He has such a wonderful movement Tara
yes I am very pleased with his gates he has a dish but that's fine with me.
@@Tara101 I was looking for the dish when he was trotting but couldn't see it. Is it less than his big brother's?
Xoxoxo
Diablo is beautiful, love the way he moves! I’m excited for you Tara and can’t wait to watch your journeys with him!!!
He’s beautifully put together for such a youngster. I like how he moves, he elevates his knees it’s very pretty.
👍
He is in good hands.
thanks Penny
Didn't once call out for his mum.
Diablo’s acclimation is a journey for you both. Thanks for taking us along! 🧡
Awww bless him. All part of growing up and socializing. He'll be a confident chap in no time and copy your other two beauties 😍x
Love how you let him look at things but still keep him engaged with you. He stunning.
Congratulations on your new additions to the family . Diablo has lovely conformation , quality and a lot of presence for a baby !
I think so too! 😊
Very very beautiful perfect horse..🥰💞🤗
Many many thanks
he's like, what the heck are those things, oh my he's such a lovely boy, congratulations you guys, can't wait until tomorrow
😘Dx
sorry that you are not riding any more Dale that is a real shame. All the best Tara🥰
Calling him good man😄❤
He is lovely what a striking you boy so look forward to see his progress after tomorrow treats ready xx
Not enough adjectives to describe him... lovely movement. I'm in love!
