Huh, I managed to create a character just fine, but as soon as I was supposed to get into the game, it gave me "Failed to connect to the server". Now, everytime I open the game it loads for a while and gives me the error again. Anyone have any clue on what's happening?
your nox setting and version? tested now nox v 3.8.0.0 still work with setting root off and graphic rendering to compatible(openGL), if nox not work maybe u can try install remix os very smooth graphic in that OS, here is their official channel ua-cam.com/channels/0U64-AHqJfeAnFJ5vQnM8w.htmlvideos
The requirements from toram online has changed so even now you can't play the game with slow internet like let's say that i have free basic internet that's about 64 KB speed and it's still playable no matter how much the game needed, but now i can't play toram as usual anymore and it needs more internet as of now since the last update that i could manage to play it smoothly with no problems at all,

i hv tested now, i can connect to server , maybe your internet having trouble
