- The Rabaconda Tire Changer is a wonderful tool! However, the first time used was very frustrating ... not because of the tool, but because of the operator ... ME! I thought by watching a couple of videos I would have the skills to use the tool ... NOT!
Then going back and reading the Instruction Manual and changing a few tires for practice .. WOW ... THIS IS A FNATASTIC TOOL!
It took me 45 minutes the first try with the Rabaconda and about 4 minutes at the end ... practice realy helps.
If you desire to change tires yourself ... certainly learn how to use little tire irons for on the trail ... but at home ... the RABACONDA is a MUST-HAVE! :)

A project for rainy days in B town
PERFECT for a rain day!
Great video Dave, thank you. So about $700 ish for all of it? I love the convenience factor but what about balancing the wheels? Did you still find the need to bring to shop and have done?
Hey! Thanks for the question ... on my Gold Wing I have centramatic wheel balancers... forr the BMW I use about 2 Oz of beads . That seems to work well for me. Again, thanks for watching the video. The Rabaconda is a game changer!
I plan to just balance the wheels myself. You can get a static motorcycle balancer for $50-150.
Rabaconda just released their balancer and it is excellent. Received mine today. It also breaks down and stores in an included bag. Also has a wall mount which is really cool.
@@ChadHargis I saw that ... will be checking it out! Thanks!
