    John F Elliott Professor of Metallurgy
    Donald R. Sadoway, the John F. Elliot professor of metallurgy in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, researches energy storage and battery technology, how to store energy in automobiles and in stationary objects, and also how to extract metal ores and recycle metals. He is one of the most popular teachers at the Institute and has won repeated awards for his teaching, including the MacVicar Fellowship. He teaches 3.091 Introduction to Solid State Chemistry, a class taken by more than half of the freshman class, and sometimes referred to as “309-fun”.

    Great desire to know ,who influenced him as a teacher from his academics to mould him as the greatest teacher?

    He's been listening to Bill Gates, who had been running around with Jerry Seinfeld. Gates ended up working part time at Microsoft and playing cards with Warren Buffet.
