I got the 1A factory OEM slotted cross drilled rotors with ceramic pads on my 2015 Camaro RS and it’s like night and day improvement even without upgrading the calipers. Don’t throw too much money into one upgrade 💫✊
Hey 👋🏽 I am sure that changing rotors and pads really improved, the stock breaks are really bad! If you think changing those components is day and night, changing from 1 piston to 4 piston calipers is 3 days and 3 nights! Of course upgrade depending on tour needs! Thanks for the support and glad your liking your new set up!
Yeah I feel like they were trying to cut corners with those calipers, I get it the v6 isn’t as fast but at 💯 + or someone cuts you off you kinda need better breaks 😂😅
Hey I have a 5th gen and have some 6th caliper are you able to use them on the 5th gen if I have the rotors and lines and everything? They look just like yours.
Hey 👋🏽 to my knowledge you can’t do that but I never seen them in person to know that they look the same! I would do some research and ask in Facebook and see if someone has done that conversion
So how has the TRQ rotors and brake pads hold up ? Any squealing at all ? Im looking at getting some cross drilled/slotted rotors, and pads but i dont want to break the bank if I dont have to. When i saw the price of this package i was both amazed and worried. For something to be so moderately priced it seems too good to be true. Its been about a year for you, are the rotors displaying any cracks near the drilled holes? Has there been any warping ? Are the pads silent or do they make a lot of noise ? I know this was a how to video rather than a product review video, so any info would be greatly appreciated!
@thev6camaroguy Thanks for the honest response. I appreciate you telling me about the noise. Because of that, I bit the bullet and decided to go with the Powerstop z23 kit. They come with carbon fiber and ceramic pads. I bought them about a month ago and I wanted to put in some drive time before leaving a comment. To keep my comment from being too long I'll just say that I will only buy powerstop moving forward.
I have considered it, but its a lot of work to convert from 2011 to 12 taillights 🥲 I will do it one day but for now I am going to try to be happy wit what have 😃 Those c8 taillights look amazing 🤩 Thanks for your comment! Don’t forget to like and subscribe😁

The rotors are doing amazing, rust is normal in the rotors surfaces so there is some there and wipes right off ones you use the car! However The hub for the rotor is completely rust free Totally recommend the rotors but the pads not so much, as a long term review those break pads squeak when they are cold and too much break dust Hope this helped don’t forget to follow me on instagram! 😄 Storm _trooper432
Thanks for your feedback 😁🙏🏽 I installed them the way the manufacturer recommended, I understand that its oposite from other brands, I had some confusion myself!
Best thing I have done, still holding up strong 💪🏽 have no issues whatsoever, breaking is so much smoother specially going at a good speed Specially if you are supercharged you have to do it man! Also you should message me and we can exchange information I would love to know about the supercharger!
I totally agree, This Channel is about modifying my v6 Camaro and introducing mods for both v6 and v8s! I do know a v8 is better than a v6 lol However I have to work with what I got! yes in the future, hopefully Ill be introducing a v8 😄 Thanks for your support!
@@thev6camaroguy I'm saying that because I moded the heck of of my V6 and it got totalled in a rear end accident. It only gone appraised for retail value. I lost so much money behind those mods and had to start from scratch when I got the V8.

Love the brakes, something I want to do also, Great info
Thanks glad to hear your learned something from my videos!
Red calipers coming next month :)
Stay tuned for the video😉
One reason why I chose v6 over v8 is it's much cheaper and it's in my budget but the 1 piston brake calipers is not really enough.
Yeah I feel like they were trying to cut corners with those calipers, I get it the v6 isn’t as fast but at 💯 + or someone cuts you off you kinda need better breaks 😂😅
hella good vibes bro, everyone needs a friend like pedro.
you think it’ll be this easy for 6th gen’s as well?
Thanks bro 🙏🏽 yes hes definitely a blessing… he needs to hurry up and get a lift 😂
It should be the same process!
Badass video bro thank you so much ! 🙏🏻
Any time!
Inner then outer nipples in that order and RR, LF, LR, LF order per GM manual.
Thanks for the information! 🙏🏽
I didn’t have any issues but its always good to follow what the manufacturer recommends!

These are good to not break the bank and had no issues with the functionality how ever they are noisy, they squeak often...

Glad you liked them, that is my choice of breaks (or the brembos) when its time to replace mine!
Did you have to use different bolts goong to the bigger breaks or were you able to reuse the same bolts.
Hey 👋🏽, I used the bolts that came with the caliper …that would’ve ben the v8 ones
Thanks man !!! Wanted to do this for awhile 💯
Glad it helped 😈🔥
Would you consider doing the c8 taillight conversion from AutoAddicts🤔

Hello, how did you solve the problem with the handbrake?
I dont recall having a problem with a handbrake 😬
Its ben a while, but everything is running great!
Bro , what you did about the parking brake?! The new one doesn’t have that option?! How you made the parking brakes work?!
Hello, I didn’t mess with none of that, the only modification was the dust guard… everything works very good
