Durk cleared this up before. This isn't his first time. I wish that verse was longer though, it might have not been his best verse but his voice and cadence went with that beat perfectly.

Not sure where you got confused but he literally didn't say anything about redoing it. He said the studio had closed so he could only get him the 8. Now if drake can be quoted saying he had him redo it then that's whatever. However in this interview it's quite the contrary
Durk is the kind of success story that encourages me as a underground artist with a small following. Seeing how he’s developed his skills and slowly blown up after seizing each and every opportunity he’s been giving has been inspirational! Mans has quickly become a mainstay in the industry and for good reason. Dude is too nice! I know if I put in the work, I can reach a larger audience some day too, but for now, I’m happy being a supporter. My turn will come too. Salute to Durk🔥

@Businessman True, he is still young and definitely has a lot to learn, but when a true beta tries to compete with real alphas it becomes painfully obvious and unbearable to watch. He has some deep rooted insecurities which results in very odd behaviour.
