I still remember watching music videos in Carisbrooke (anyone who went to my boarding school at the same time, wassup, Y Don’t U Call Me Anymore?) and I was always mesmerised by this. It’s crazy, because compared to contemporary music vids where dancing is a focus, this clearly is an inspiration but I have to say so many of the shots and editing feel clunky and like they sort of butcher the fluidity of the dancers. Real 90s core memories though. Wow. I still don’t know if I know how the original non Jason Nevins version sounds.
