Ott Tanak is channeling his inner Ogier in that Ford, literally. He's now Ford's leading driver of course and already an experienced world champion, I hope he could bring the WDC back to Ford since 2018, WCC look unlikely so I hope that WDC could be his this year

Well he was not fastest, thats why he is not on the podium obviously ;) The Yaris is the best car by far, driven by one of the best drives, thats a winning combo! No doubt! Give "the fastest" man the least reliable car and se what the result will be then ;)

Nice to see Tänak win for M-sport so early in the season! That move to M-sport made the championship so much more interesting now that all teams have winning drivers. Rooting for Tänak and Järveoja to win the drivers title this year

Congrats to Ott The Warrior Tanak! Pure skill, now if they can adapt the puma to his satisfaction, the season will be a thrilling ride. Sad for EP, he was doing so good at first. Malcolm Wilson's tears of joy... they hugged like a father and son almost.
Tänak proving to M-Sport that he's well worth the price, they just need to make sure that the car can keep up with him.

WAIT. WHAT?! I just clicked the video and its opening is Tanak flat out on snowy surface. Guy must be 1000% trust his co-driver to be that fast on track like that. Nothing can impress me in motorsports more than WRC drivers.

I don’t care who or what motor racing category it is, any aspiring world champion who needs help in the form of team mates gifting them positions is no world champion. Breen totally deserved second, the racing gods have spoken!
Hyundai did him a massive disservice this rally. They should apologize to him for that. He's gotten many podium finishes for them, and they don't even give him a full time drive. Unbelievable.
Such a very sad loss to us all, Craig was such an inspiration and was surely destined for much more success, his personality was a joy to behold, R.I.P., you’ll never be forgotten.

Well there's no team communication during the stage, he wouldn't have known that Neuville screwed up. I bet he was taking it easy and not pushing too hard, at least in his mind.

KARMA for Huyndai for nearly ruining power stage, but in the end it was them that made it interesting, or should i say Neuville did.

I seriously hope Hyundai get a heavy fine for forcing Craig to take that penalty. That was disgraceful of them to do that to him after he drove his heart out, and they clearly force him to do that to favour Neuville who choked on the Power Stage.
It's nothing new. Why would they get a penalty? They do what is best from the team's perspective. It's been part of rallying for a while.

Ah, as soon as Tänak is gone from Hyundai, everyone in the comments is suddenly against Team orders.
The man who initially grumbled the most about his car and the conditions ends up winning fairly comfortably 😆😆. Hats off to him and all the others, especially Breen who also put in a brilliant drive, for all giving us the best rallying spectacle of recent years.

I don't like how Hyundai is doing things. It is not in a nature of good sportmanship to be giving out positions. If Neuville can't earn it himself, he doesn't deserve it. Also I think there is more than his driver skills for why Hyundai favors Neuville so. I think he has his fingers on something at Hyundai behind the scenes. It feels like Hyundai is a one man team. I am worried for Lappi and Glad Tänak left them.
Team orders suck! Karma payed it back for Breen in the end.

Oliver Solberg got lucky enough to be out of Hyundai, I guess lmao. What a bunch of dramas. Tanak won right after getting out of Hyundai. Swede won in WRC2 Sweden ! I can't wait to see Oliver competing in Rally 1 car again.
Kalle was fastest driver on Sweden, they never shouldnt driven Brattby after historic series. Well now Kalle doesnt have to start first on Mexico.

In Wrc there's always been team orders. Not in Hyundai last season tough, good to see they are trying at least.

@@R1K1-15 yeah but it's physically impossible for Breen to win the championship since he's a part time driver. Its annoying and I'm really happy for Breen but any team at any era would have done the same quite frankly
That's how Adamo snatched constructors title from Toyota few years ago, after Adamo left the team has been in disarray
There were two things to learn from this rally. First, I can't help thinking of the durability of📱Nokia 3310, so maybe it would time for the FIA to replace 🇮🇹 Pirelli with 🇫🇮 Nokian Tyres. And secondly, the team principals and its "ethics" (or the lack thereof) shouldn't be acquired from F1. It represents everything that's wrong with F1, and why, I started boycotting F1 after the 🇺🇸 2022 United States GP. Just saying. 🤔

Team orders the 2nd rally of the season is garbage. Every year it gets worse and worse.
Well, it's understandable, Breen being a part-time driver has no chance at the championship title but Neuville has. Any extra point they can get for Neuville could end up being crucial.
well this is why they use 3rd car to support main guy who doing full season, they are used for better road conditions so they could take points away another drivers etc its part of their job they don't go for world title anyway just support drivers.
