  • Visited the Schley County Georgia Courthouse. I was immediately approached by Haley Felkner. She was so convinced that we the people had to follow rules. The police were alerted and you will be surprised how this officer acted.

Hailey wasn't very hospitable. Not the way someone visiting deserves to be treated. When I was growing up we would visit courthouses and take pictures. Vacations were educational trips for my family. This would have been a traumatizing experience for my family being stopped and bullied in our building. We were brought up on the Constitution and what our rights are.

I’m in a unique position. While I am an investigative journalist, I also served as an elected official. I am very familiar withe First Amendment rights and constitutional issues.
In my opinion, Haley did violate your rights by telling you to exit the building with your recording equipment. She can’t use the small town excuse. I’m from a small town in Maine and we know constitutional rights here.

Good thing the deputy clerk isn’t the arbiter of American freedoms and we all do not have to get her permission to enjoy our rights and freedoms. For someone that knows what he is doing, she sure is falling into any trap he is setting. She should get a job in the drive-thru taking orders where she might actually be allowed to be rude.

Blind Fred knows a rule isn't a law and that public access applies to everyone even those with cameras. I guess public employees were not taught about the consitution while at school. Stupidity and arrogance seem to go hand in hand with public servants. The only cure for those type of public servants is unemployment it brings those dummies back down to earth.

we're not stupid, but if you cant pronounce the name of the town then all ur rights are gone. i like how auditors mine their business an everyone say he baiting. people just hate freedom when it doesn't benefits them

Wow determined to say I only serve the people I want to.
That's not how public service works, unless you want to revoke all authority over what non residents do in your town. You claim authority over them, you take money from them, you serve them.

The sign makes employees law breakers.
They don’t think rights is a law.
They think rights are for activist. Trouble makers.
Nice of the cop to take your call for service.
I’ve always thought the rule of auditors don’t call police was stupid.
Seen auditors push the buttons to make police respond.
Then everyone mad as they say. Looking for a response.
Why not let the cops be on the good guys side for once.
    Boy she was pissed.
She should take that sign down.
    That’s what caused her anger.
