In this specific tutorial I demonstrate how I execute a mid-drop fade with 360 waves on a new client with COARSE hair.
When I’m not too familiar with my canvas, I like to go in with extra precaution using these 10 simple steps:
1.) Follow the wave pattern.
2.) Clean your canvas.
3.) Work your way ⬆️ then ⬇️.
4.) Repeat steps going ⬇️ and back ⬆️.
5.) Polish your work.
6.) Start line up in the middle.
7.) Proceed to weakest side.
8.) Complete it with the strongest side.
9.) Enhance the edge-up.
10.) Locking it up.

only thing i dont get is when you put you open guard in then close it half way and you say hit the ceiling, do you mean go to the very top of the open section? wouldnt that just remove the whole open section?

I use a foil shaver on waves too.. way more efficient and effective than shears, BUT… with that Braun series 9, it’s IMPORTANT not to apply pressure because that cutter between the foils will gap a waver! Make sure you’re ONLY using the foils..
