Just today on Instagram there was a convo about camping trailers and I had just finished watching EVERY single video I could find on Patriot Campers. Admittedly, I was not sold on the X1-H until I watched this one- don't ever apologize for their length, we eat it up! What sold me you ask? 1.)You jumped on the hard top! 2.)The rain diverting gasket, 3.)the insulation against cold and heat, and 4.)those actuators... as we get older and I don't envision climbing on the RTT above the Jeep as an old man, the Patriot camper enables me to enjoy the outdoors for a very long time. I respect your honesty about what's good and what's not- it helps us make the best decision for our needs. Although expensive, if one considers the quality, the engineering, and the comfort...its money well spent!

I really like your trailer. I, like many Americans, always look for "buy America" first. As far as I am concerned, Australia is like a brother, therefore family. I served with Australians in Vietnam and they had our back. My grandfather served with Australians in WWII. I am in Texas and your dealer is not too far from me, so they will be getting a visit from me . I am out of the country now, but they will be getting a visit from me.when I get home. I just bought a new Jeep Wrangler two door so I am limited because of weight restrictions. So I think the X1-H is for me. I love the X3, but weight is the problem. If it were not for that, I would be ordering the X3 next week. Good work and all of my best to you and your team. A big selling point for Conqueror 4x4 is their background in building to military standards. A constructive criticism, or really a recommendation would be to highlight any military grade features engineered into the product. Hearing something is military grade is a huge wow factor for the boys! Love your products and thank you for producing them. Looking forward to getting my X1H for the family very soon. Cheers!

Unfortunately Australia has a lot of tall poppy syndrome but I think it's great for an Aussie company to have one of the best products of any kind in the world and have success doing it! These are awesome but $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. For not much more we bought a new 40' 5th wheel with residential fridge, fireplace, water heater, full size microwave, 2 leather sofas, love seat, 2 air conditioners, furnace, king bed, toilet, shower, and much more.
this trailer is one of most thoroughly thorough out there, as for bug out system and for camping too out there as it's a small foot print there. I see abit of military ideas there too...wow.. l will contact you guys about this very soon as l live Canada.. cheers mate..
I own a X1 LE and am rapt with the camper. There has been a lot of negative criticism in the past which has been disappointing. Looking at the behind the scenes so to speak of the camper just reinforces why they are such a good camper. I don't think it was necessary to respond to ol mate but it was funny to watch a professional explain his product without criticising anyone else, as a result ol mate looked like a clown. Well done patriot campers.
Couldn't agree more. We still love our X1 LE. Yes I'd like to change a few things but seeing this video now shows why it's not as straight forward as we would all like it to occur. And again the whole gas issue which started a few years ago wasn't Patriots fault (just stupid laws). I love seeing the evolution of these campers each year and yes, I do get envious each time something new comes out, but hey, we are still part of the Patriot family will always support this truly Australian company.
You should come with those in Morocco. Another off road paradise. If you can make it to aguinane or other very tiny mountain passage, surely the video will impress. And I think there is a market for it even with rich locals as a lot of people have an off roader. Plus all the europeans that come to use their off roading machine in a proper terrain, like Morocco. Should I add that you are an amazing company. Keep on.
I simply love your products. They are on my "to get" list". I appreciate the effort you put into things and reasons why things are done. I will echo some of the comments about the electric opening tent, vs a counter weight or other system though. The less automated by motors an item can be, the more reliable they tend to be. But again, I have no real issues with the direction you went. That said... for "me", I still prefer the soft top for many reasons. I understand the reasons for the new version, and love it, but so glad you still offer the soft top option. Keep up the good work! Cheers!

Im from New Zealand and have been following you guys awhile and i love what your about and how you do business. Recently on a trip touring the South Island by some lucky miracle i came across one of your campers (must be one of the first here) and in the flesh its even more amazing than i could of possibility imagined. Sadly Im not willing to give up towing the jet boat so i have been left thinking how can i have your products and still tow my boat. The only way i see this happening is by having one of your PCOR flat trays and instead of the camper having wheels, it would have a flat bottom and removable height adjustable arms that allow you to back up and place it right onto the tray and clip it into place and be done. Obviously it would need a redesigned front as you wouldn't be able to access it but all and all i know you guys are smart enough to make it work. I look forward to more great content. Thanks.
Justin, very professional and wearing your heart on your sleeve. I feel bad you had to respond to the other manufacturer. I saw the video and felt the comments made either should not have been made or the concerns could have been expressed in a different way. I believe it has had the opposite effect as i now want those auto close latches for my Bundutop tent sitting on my custom self-made dirtbike/DOT-copy trailer. If i ever find the heart to trade my 200 for a ute to carry my dirtbikes, i would buy a Patriot without a second thought. Keep it up mate!
Good video, however wish I can give a suggestion that I think people would love. If it came with long flips, window or sectional flips that can be attack around the awning. It can provide a wind barrier and stop rain from coming near cooking area if the rain comes down at a angle.
Another awesome product coming out of Queensland, the r&d you put your gear through is outstanding. I would love a patriot camper but out of the budget at the moment. My secondhand goldstream will have to so me for a while to come

Hey Justin! At 26.18min you said "you wished that you had a thermometer". Look on your left wrist bud! You're rocking the GWG1000! Just take it off and set it to thermometer and it will measure the ambient temp (instead of your body temp when it's on your wrist). Great camping trailers mate! I'm actively working on "The Minister for War and Finance" to persuade her to allow me to buy one!
Awesome new set up Justin! I think the only thing at the moment I wish I could do with my trailer is push button remote locks on all doors. I'm pretty sure this has probably crossed your mind already. Currently using 7 pad locks plus manually locking two doors. Other than that absolutely love our trailer! Keep up the good work!

Absolutely love your campers! Built Aussie tough! But I have a question about the leveling process on the airbag suspension. You show the bubble levels and then proceed to open a panel that appears to be above them, thus obscuring them from view. Am I seeing that correctly?
As always loved the video and your passion.. #1 - perhaps a pole or two to hold up the pull out cooking table with the refrigerator.. or are they strong enough to hold extra weight. I'm thinking someone will take a chance and sit on it ( obviously not recommended) u never know.. #2 - steps could be a little too steep for some..maybe u could incline it some more and effectively lengthening the step. I don't know.. #3- the kids stretchers.. do they come with the camper? Just love the camper..
Have you thought about putting that hard top tent on top of your canopies? As someone looking into your Canopies, Trays, and conversions (specifically waiting for a Ford F250 system), I'd love to have that hard top tent on the canopies.
Hear’s an idea. Take the X3 platform and do the top section like the X1H. Make the hard top a bit taller so you can leave the changing room attached. Also with the X3 platform you can do a larger frig/freezer. The unit could be the X1H-XL. Just an idea from the US
You should incorporate a fan / ventilation setup in the hard top for the tent so that you can get some air flow into the tent area. This would help immensely on the very hot nights when you're camping.
I don't see why you couldn't install one after market. Basically Patriots are really good but they're not perfect. You'll always have to add this or that before striking out for the territory's.

I feel bad you had to respond to the other manufacturer. I saw the video and felt the comments made either should not have been made or the concerns could have been expressed in a different way.
I believe it has had the opposite effect as i now want those auto close latches for my Bundutop tent sitting on my custom self-made dirtbike/DOT-copy trailer.
If i ever find the heart to trade my 200 for a ute to carry my dirtbikes, i would buy a Patriot without a second thought.

Good video, however wish I can give a suggestion that I think people would love. If it came with long flips, window or sectional flips that can be attack around the awning. It can provide a wind barrier and stop rain from coming near cooking area if the rain comes down at a angle.

Look on your left wrist bud! You're rocking the GWG1000! Just take it off and set it to thermometer and it will measure the ambient temp (instead of your body temp when it's on your wrist).

Awesome new set up Justin! I think the only thing at the moment I wish I could do with my trailer is push button remote locks on all doors. I'm pretty sure this has probably crossed your mind already. Currently using 7 pad locks plus manually locking two doors. Other than that absolutely love our trailer! Keep up the good work!

Why the electric motor and not just a counterweight hinge? Wouldn’t it be lighter, less maintenance, more reliable and faster?

Absolutely love your campers! Built Aussie tough! But I have a question about the leveling process on the airbag suspension. You show the bubble levels and then proceed to open a panel that appears to be above them, thus obscuring them from view. Am I seeing that correctly?

#1 - perhaps a pole or two to hold up the pull out cooking table with the refrigerator.. or are they strong enough to hold extra weight. I'm thinking someone will take a chance and sit on it ( obviously not recommended) u never know..
#2 - steps could be a little too steep for some..maybe u could incline it some more and effectively lengthening the step. I don't know..
#3- the kids stretchers.. do they come with the camper?

Have you thought about putting that hard top tent on top of your canopies? As someone looking into your Canopies, Trays, and conversions (specifically waiting for a Ford F250 system), I'd love to have that hard top tent on the canopies.

Hear’s an idea. Take the X3 platform and do the top section like the X1H. Make the hard top a bit taller so you can leave the changing room attached. Also with the X3 platform you can do a larger frig/freezer. The unit could be the X1H-XL. Just an idea from the US

bradymn1 hi Brady, the actuators have a built in lid limit so if you try and overload them, they just stop!
You should incorporate a fan / ventilation setup in the hard top for the tent so that you can get some air flow into the tent area. This would help immensely on the very hot nights when you're camping.
I don't see why you couldn't install one after market. Basically Patriots are really good but they're not perfect. You'll always have to add this or that before striking out for the territory's.
i would add extra window same as the one already in the pod at the top .for the heat to go thru also pockets next to the window at the bottom
